Love It, However.....
Have owned my 2024 Palisade Calligraphy for 2+ years now, and while I do love it, I have reliability concerns. Within 45 days of ownership, was notified it would need a new engine--much stress!!! Dealership was great in making it happen, however, the entire process took from Feb to June. So far, so good. Now I have the seat belt issue, not resolved yet, a brake software issue and over the last couple of days, another safety issue concerning ejection due to glass/air bags in 3rd row--more stress when hauling grandchildren. In addition, since purchasing this vehicle, I have become severely aware of the oil consumption issue with this engine!! While I will be closely monitoring the issue and while the warranty is best in the business, peace of mind is important to me. This constant stress with vehicle reliability is not sustainable. A family member purchased a 2020 Kia Telluride with the exact same engine and is now dealing with major oil consumption issues which started around 92K--now has over 100K which Kia will not resolve! Kia/Hyundai family has lost this customer and I am considering going elsewhere as well. Again, love my Hyundai--amazing features that can't be beat, however, reliability is extremely important....breakdowns with children are unacceptable!
