2026 Palisade Caligraphy Hybrid 2500 miles

Comfortable ride and lots of features and roomy interior but some flaws in design. Transmission is not smooth in shifting at times and gas mileage is not as good as other hybrids in the same category. Defective air flap from factory that took three weeks to fix.

1 and done with Hyundai

We got the car and loved driving it. Then seats tried to crush my son automatically one day. Now that feature no longer works. 450 miles on a brand new car check engine light comes on. The dealer is worthless and it has been over 2months with the light on and still not fixing the issue. Then today I get a text message not a phone call. Bring your car in to be fixed. Oh but we cant give you a rental car. Even though when I spoke to the service rep he assured me I would have a rental. In the final text message he would let me know when he had a rental car for me to use while my brand new car is being worked on again. This will be the last hyundai we own. PS louisville Hyundai does not value there customers.

First hybrid

This is my first hybrid. It is very comfortable. The drivers seat has a back massage option where it messages your back every 30 minutes. The riders seat has a zero gravity position which is wonderful for long rides. The interior is pretty amazing with multiple accent color lights to choose . Being electric it has very responsive pick up. Not much I don’t like about the car. Today I drive 20 miles and had a gas mileage of 39.6mpg. Clearly the fuel economy is speed related but even on highways I normally get about 29 mpg and this is a large SUV. Everything is electronic So far it is the best car I have ever had. I have had 11.. I like this vehicle a lot

How's the Palisade so far?

Purchased in December 2025. Fit and finish of the vehicle is excellent. Performance and handling are also very good. The lane keeping is a little too aggressive at times which impacts handling slightly. Otherwise, handling is fine, as are some of the safety features such as adaptive cruise control. MPG calculations are somewhat lower than expected. Also disappointed that there is no option for a spare tire on US models. Was able to install a spare tire carrier on a 2023 Santa Fe very easily because mounting holes were pre-drilled and tapped. Not an option on the Palisade. No issues with the 12v battery as some others have complained. Also disappointing is the disabling of features related to the third-row seat folding. I would think there would be a better fix than disabling seat controls. Perhaps a sensor installed under the seat that functions in a similar manner as the air bag seat sensor. In general, I don't like the manufacturer disabling features that I may want to keep active, and that were part of the installed options.

26 Palisade Calligraphy Hybrid AWD

New purchase made at the end of February and we couldn’t be happier. We purchased the black exterior on the very light gray interior. The car runs beautifully and has a very nice look on the interior almost like a luxury vehicle. We are very happy with our dealer we used in Bentonville, Arkansas over 1000 miles away from our home, but we simply would not engage Florida dealers with the crazy dealer fees They are allowed to charge here. We shipped the vehicle right to our front door in early March. The color combination is beautiful.

Affordable luxury

Luxurious interior and loaded with extras. The drive quality is awesome aswell making it a pleasure to drive. With just over 7000 miles though we are noticing the exterior is not as nice as the interior. The clear coat scratches with any contact and takes a paint correction to get it back to swirl free. The front plastic is extremely susceptible to rock chips and the once metallic looking trim is now riddled with paint chips from driving.

Great Overall

Overall very nice design and lots of features that cost more on other cars or are not even available including (on Calligraphy) in no particular order: massaging driver’s seat, heated and cooled front and second row seats, heated 3rd row seats, power folding 2nd and 3rd row seats, built in front and rear dash cams, digital key, window shades on the second row seats, power folding mirrors (finally! - I would not have bought the car without them), and a 5 year 60k mile bumper to bumper warranty, plus 10 years on the engine and powertrain including the batteries for the hybrid model. Other car manufacturers obviously don’t have as much confidence in their cars and only offer 3/36 warranties. The car gives a nice ride and is very quiet, and it has good power in the hybrid model. Gas mileage in the winter was about 30% less than rated, but since it has warmed up mileage is approaching the EPA rating. Negatives in no particular order are no spare tire, and the space for it exists under the car! They could have at least made that area accessible from inside the car to store stuff, especially since they stuck the 12v battery in the back storage area! I read that they deleted the spare to save weight. However, they included as standard equipment a heavy tow hitch. How many people tow? I would much rather have a spare. If you get a sidewall cut in your tire, you have to get your car towed to get a spare. The graphics in the manual are absolutely horrible. The font size on the screen for some items is WAY TO SMALL, especially those related to the radio. You should view this as a safety issue. A driver may stare at the screen for a longer time due to the small font, taking their eyes off the road. Twenty one inch wheels, really? They may look cool, but they do not give as nice a ride as smaller wheels, and 21” tires are more expensive. Stop the race for having the largest wheels on the planet! The steering wheel could extend further for tall people. As is, you have to put the seat a bit more forward than you would otherwise which brings your knees close to the lower part of the dashboard. The sanitizer in the center console is a waste. The fingerprint reader in place of the sanitizer switch as seen on non US cars would be much better. The small storage area below the climate controls is useless. If you step on the gas with any gusto, whatever is sitting in there falls out. The center console is too low. It was too low on the prior version of the Palisade as well. It is not that it is uncomfortable as-is, it’s that it is too low to rest your elbow on it and comfortably reach the steering wheel. And now that you put clamshell doors on the Calligraphy model, you can’t put a nice aftermarket pad there! So overall, would I recommend the car? Yes. Would I buy another if mine were to disappear? Probably, at least it would be on the short list.

Third-Row SUV for Family of 4

We bought this vehicle as a size upgrade for our family of 4, to be able to bring friends and family with us when out and about. Have been incredibly happy with every part of this vehicle, with really no major criticisms.

Great car

I had the Hyundai Limited before upgrading to this one. I love the car. I love the room. There’s a few things I don’t care for I don’t care for the fact that that HEV cleaner is in there. I think it’s unnecessary, it’s hard to get to things under the console if you’re driving, then having a hard time with Bluetooth every time, there’s an updated changes something in our settings. I love the dash and the camera is phenomenal. Having some issues with it revving when it shouldn’t be all things that can be addressed at our first visit.
