My Palisade is emerald green
Really enjoying driving my 2026 Palisade Calligraphy. The ride is luxury car smooth and the tech in this vehicle is out of this world, both for entertainment and safety. It is so neat the way they add vehicle updates via computer and send you a text when they're uploaded. The leather trim is top class along with the heated and ventilated seats, and I went with the all-weather floor mats, which are comfortable and easy to clean. This is the first hybrid vehicle that I've owned and it's so enjoyable to hear the gas engine cut out and switch to battery power. That "whir" of the battery tells me that I'm saving fuel. Fuel mileage is good, although I haven't made it yet to the 29 MPG advertised. It will also accelerate nicely when needed. I would give five stars, but there are a couple of recalls yet to be resolved, and two times I entered my car to a dead 12-volt battery, which I had to jump start. Dealer said the battery tested good and would not replace. Hyundai tells me that it must happen another time before they'll replace it. Not an ideal situation with a brand-new vehicle, as there is a trust issue, wondering if your new vehicle is going to start. It's not happened in the last month, so I'm hoping the issue was with the vehicle sitting on the dealer lot and just needed some driving to charge it up. I will state this: we liked the vehicle so well that went out and purchased my wife a brand-new Hyundai Sonata Limited. We also like the My Hyundai app and the Hyundai "how to" videos. It takes a while to learn everything about the vehicle (I still am) and those videos teach you by any particular function you might need to know about. I mentioned in the title that mine is emerald green in color, but there are certain ways the light hits it that make it sometimes look black or dark blue. Love the color. Please note: anything below a nine in my ratings is due to the recall and battery issue.
