Adorable.Fun to drive.Great pick up.Annoying distracting messages.

Annoying and distracting messages while driving. While slowing down as per the speed limit, I keep getting messages telling me to take a break. This message is irrelevant and distracting.

So nice to find controls that are where expected

The Kona surprised me, in a good way. I wanted a compact SUV and looked at several other brands. Most of them had buttons that were images on a screen. The Luxery brands didn't''t offer anything special to justify the extra $$$. The auto park feature and even the hands free trunk opener actually work and are useful. Gas mpg is close to 30 and it gets a little better as the engine breaks in. Ride and handleing are very good. I found that I like it so much that when it was time to replace my sedan from another manufacturer the Sonata was so similar to the Kona that it was an easy decision. My ONLY disappoint is the lack of 'home link' to open the garage door. (My solution was to purchase a clip on opener from the internet $13 on line.)

These cars continually get worse instead of better.

Instead of making improvements, Hyundai has taken shortcuts that has made the car non user friendly.

Bells and whistles

The vehicle is fine . The lack of customer service care is my complaint . I’m very disappointed. This is what happens when you step down from luxury vehicle.

Good car, but a little unsafe

Great car! Fast! Reliable! The main issue is the door locks. 1) The button the push on the outside door handle is temperamental and doesnt always work when pushed. 2) if the vehicle is running and you get out, you cannot unlock the passenger doors, even with the key fob. You have to go back to the driver door to unlock. 3) if you partially close the door on your finger (like I did), you cannot open the door. You must send someone around the vehicle, to inside and have them manually open the door from the inside. IT IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE that a solo driver can smash their finger in the door and basically be stranded unless the completely close the door by disfiguring their finger, or smashing the window to manually open the door from inside.

No options to turn off or customize features. The take a break alert is one that needs to be on the list. Goes off all the time avoiding construction and potholes. App never work when you need it to. Put the music/volume/speak controls on the wheel back o the left side. They are on the right and my hand can easy just hit the buttons on the dash. Made more sense to have available for both hands. Left hand for left side of wheel or right hand for dash. Bring the lumbar support back for SEL models. Need more trunk and less backseat. Front collision alert constantly comes on when a piece of snow or even rain that runs off the roof is obstructing

My kona

I'm averaging about 40mpg on my drive to and from work. The vehicle is a very nice car to drive. I love it. My only complaint is the brake pedal and gas pedal are to close for me, I sometimes when switching from the brake to gas I will sometimes hit the brake pedal on accident.
