Good gas mileage

Drives good, the seat protection is great! Especially since I have little grandchildren. This car is a little too small for me. That's the only complaint I have otherwise it has been a great car.

2023 Kona Awd

Like the features of the base Kona. Only problem we have had is the display screen sometimes take 10-15 minutes to come up. Kind of a pain when using for gps to get to an unknown destination and the display screen won’t come up. Doesn’t bank on curves well, seat is a little too long for people with short thighs.

2023 Kona review

Very comfortable, but not enough room in space between front seats, cup holders and compartment for items could be a bit larger. Also cup holders on front doors not very useful. The stability on a quick swerve on highway to avoid being hit felt off, fortunately only had that happen 1 time during the 17 months of driving it.

I Love It but could be better

The computer system does not always work correctly unless I restart the system. Sometimes GPS is very slow to upload. Sometimes music switches to radio on its own. Passenger seat not comfortable to the elderly to get in and out of.

Small and cheap

It's so small you can't put more than groceries in it, but it was all week could afford. The dealership puts add-ons and said we had to buy them with the car, come to find out that's not true. All the add-ons total about $350 went right in the trash when we got home. I'll never buy hyundai again!

i like the kona, but there are a few issues that bother me. the beeping and lowering of the music when within a foot of the lane line is highly annoying and it took me awhile to get used to 'lane-assist as it feels like the car is trying to pull the steering wheel out of my hands.

Hyundai Stands the Test of Time

I don't recall the year, but my first Hyundai was an Excel. I bought it new from a local dealership in Lakeland, FL. I've owned and driven Hyundai ever since. Over the course of these over two decades of customer loyalty, Hyundai has continuosly produced more and more superior vehicles as well as provided a level of service, features, models, and dependability that has stood the test of time. I would be hard-pressed to find a reason to look anywhere else for my transportation needs. Hyundai is the brand that has truly stood the test of time for me.

Hated the switch off feature

The automatic switch off feature determined the decision not to re lease Hyundai . When I stopped even though if it was on a hill the shutoff feature happened. I could not deal with it. My previous Tucson and 2021 Kona did not have the feature. The 2023 Kona did. I traded 6 Months before lease end for a Mazda without the shutoff

Awesome car!

I leased my Kona from 2023-2025. I traded it in for an Elantra which I am extremely unhappy with. The Kona was the BEST car I have had. I was so happy woth it. I traded it in only to decrease my car payments for the Elantra. The Kona was so comfortable (unlike the Elantra), got great mileage, super comfortable seats, awesome dash, great on mileage and a super smooth ride! I miss it everyday!

Poor performace

Cut off at stop poor gas mileage just dont like it. Any more check this check that brake for no reason. Happen on freway
