Pleasantly surprised! Extremely happy!

We've had a few Hyundai vehicles in the past. This is our first Hyundai EV and coming from 3 Teslas and a Lucid we were pleasantly surprised by the smooth ride, ultra comfort, and amazing efficiency of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 performance limited. It's incredibly roomy for all of our passengers and the extra features like full sunroof, ventilated Reclining seats with leg rests, and Bose sound system are a huge plus that make long road trips more comfortable.

I love my new Ioniq 9

Super comfy and fun to drive EV that can fit all my dogs, including the giant Newfoundland was a requirement. This car delivers on that.

Fantastic car that just needs improvement in some UI and convenience

I love the car. It just needs a few software improvements. I do hope that Hyundai is getting similar feedback and listens and adjusts with OTA updates for these issues. If they do, I would go up to 5 stars for sure!

Excellent Mileage but Dash Display Poorly Lit

Excellent mileage at 450 mpc but the dash display below the viewscreen is too dimly lit. Temperature and other controls should also be available on the viewscreen

My Ioniq 9

I love the vehicle. I researched the available EV models before choosing the Hyundai Ioniq 9. I love the features of the vehicle and the Bluelink app. I love the ease of charging the vehicle. I am very, very disappointed that the main battery has to be replaced and the vehicle does not have 10,000 miles on it. I am very disappointed that I was told by the dealer that it would take 2 months to replace the battery and the service shop where the vehicle is currently located has never replaced a battery in a Ioniq 9. I am not confident that the vehicle will ever be the same.

Purchased the vehicle with a torn headliner that Hyundai promised they could easily fixed. It spent 3 months in for repairs and was never the same. Hyundai refused to buy it back. Hyundai fought me in a BBB buyback process. I sold it. I’ll never buy a Hyundai again or recommend it to anyone.

Best Vehicle EVER!

At 80 years old, I have driven numerous automobiles…..some good some bad (Yugo!)…..however this vehicle 🚗 is absolutely wonderful!

Leased a broken car from an incompetent dealership.

I was asked to test drive a red Ioniq 9 and was told the white one I came to see wasn’t there at the moment since it was the managers car and he was out sick. The manager with the car I came to buy, magically appeared after I returned from my test drive. Long story short, I leased the white one the manager had been driving and from driving it home that night there has been problems with it and the dealership lied about repairing it and returned it to me. I took it back and they had it for over a month and only repaired part of the problems and tried to return it to me again. After I test drove it, I sent it back with the driver. I don’t receive updates from the service department (as promised) so I never know what’s going on with my car or when it’s expected to be done. Also, I was sent home with a charging cord that didn’t work so I’ve only been able to charge at charging stations which is a huge inconvenience. Hopefully when I get my car back, for the 3rd time, everything will be fixed and I’ll also have a working charging cord. For reference, I leased my car June 14th and it’s now August 24th and I’ve only had the car in my possession for about 3 weeks. Side note, this car is sooooo cute and I’d love it if this particular one didn’t have issues and I cannot believe how incompetent and dishonest multiple employees have been from the Dublin CA Hyundai location.

Great vehicle at the 1-year mark

We love our 2026 IONIQ 9! It's roomy, conveniently configured, and surprisingly energy-efficient for such a large and heavy SUV. The turning radius is too large, the steering is a little fussy at higher speeds, and we wish we could see over the hood a bit better. Other than that, we have no complaints!

IONIQ NINER (might be haunted)

I have 3500 miles on my ionic nine. It is an excellent retirement vehicle. I’m almost 72 way almost 300 pounds and it’s very easy to get in and out of. I sold my 2021 Mustang Mach E which I had almost 5 years put over 30,000 miles on it and loved it, but this ionic nine is much much more vehicle. I’m very satisfied with it, but I think it might be haunted.

Great but Not Excellent

Overall very happy. The issues I’ve encountered begin with terrible SXM radio signal reception. The level 1 charger that came with vehicle doesn’t work and first attempt to use was on a vacation where fast chargers are not closely available. The passenger seat and rear captains chairs should have massage and memory like the drivers seat. The 3rd row seats should be heated and ventilated as well. Other than those concerns I’ve been happy with vehicle performance and quality.

Ioniq 9

Very quiet, smooth, and luxurious. Interior is gorgeous. Exterior is polarizing. Definitely not a classic beauty when it comes to car design. Only concern with the car is the interior creaks and rattles. I have learned from dealership service centers that the weight from the batteries eventually causes the car to make creaking noises. We had this experience with an EV9 that was repurchased by Kia. We are hoping these issues are resolved now with the Ioniq 9. Only time will tell.
