Still moving forward

love this car it's so fun to drive and handles great.all the recalls are a bit annoying but I'll deal and the sensor are a bit over active most of the time. Not enough charging stations available in the area, luckily I installed one at home. I also find the hood paint had chipped away too easily, I have multiple chips😞The dealership I have been using since moving to FL. last year are in no way knowledgeable about the car, have asked multiple questions about the car but they either make up answers or say they don't know🤷🏼 and will ask but never come back with an answer.

Great Electric Car

The Ioniq 6 does not get the recognition it deserves. This car is zippy, stylish, and reliable. I put on my tunes and zip through the traffic. Paired with an at home level 2 charger, you will never have to worry about range anxiety again.

My favorite car ever

I've never loved a car like this before. I feel safe, I feel powerful, and it's so spacious and comfortable, I feel like I could live in it if I had to.

Really Great

I have had my Ionic 6 for about 2-1/2 years now. I still love everything about it. It is so comfortable and easy to drive. My passengers in the back seats tell me that it is so roomy and comfortable. I really love the way it response on the open road and in traffic. I have a home charger which is great. Even though it takes four to six hours to charge from 50% to 100% at 48 amps, its okay for around town and short trips. Find charging stations, that work, for longer trips is more of a challenge. I'll be glad if there is ever an adaptor available so I can use the multitude of Tesla chargers. Overall, it is a great vehicle.

nice car but Battery degrades very fast

My car battery used to give 270+ miles for 80% charge in 1st year . but now 2nd year it gives around only 200+ Miles for 80% charge. Hyundai dealers and hyundai do not have any solution / fix for this problem.

Exceeded expectation in so many ways!

Coming from many German cars (and a Tesla), didn't have much expectation for the Ioniq 6. But boy was I surprised! The car feels peppy and nimble to drive (I had the AWD model), really fun in day to day driving. Interior is roomy and airy. While backseat headroom is not great, but mostly I have kiddo in the back, so not a problem. Interior and tech I would describe as "functional", cool styling, some material and fit and finish can certainly use some improvements. Also the EV aspects are great! Not quite meet the range as claimed, but my driving style certainly contribute to that (I am getting half the claimed range on my old Tesla, so). Charges really fast as well (as long as you prep the battery). Overall, for the price I paid for the lease, I am super happy about this car

Mostly great, a few annoyances

I was solving for range, so I targeted the SE RWD, but since Hyundai won't let one order a specific build -- despite having a web site to pretend -- I had to get an SE AWD, since RWDs aren't sent to the northeast. I later found that one can get back the range hit in the higher trims by replacing the wide 20" wheels with 18" wheels, had I know that at the time I would have sought a Limited. What the SE doesn't give me: - wireless phone charging - wireless carplay (but then, no trim has it) - panoramic camera - passenger power seat - rear AC outlets and heat - State of charge reflected in the four squares on the front end. Apparently only in higher trims. This is just petty. Now as to the issues with the car I have: - The carplay display is annoying, I can have the screen split between a map app and Music, but Music doesn't show me anything. It should show the album art and album/song titles. This is a bug. - No rear washer/wiper - The rear camera is very, very prone to water / snow sticking to it. It should have an overhang to protect it. Maybe even a heater. - We didn't get the digital side mirrors in the US, so I have these stupid plastic fins instead. - When I charge at a DC station, I have to cycle the car on/off multiple times before it will let me shift into D. It'll shift into N just fine, which means the car is rolling, without being on and under power. This is a serious safety issue. - Why is the steering wheel animal leather??

A well-rounded and mature EV

Drives smoothly with a wide range of drive styles and configuration. The highway driving assist is pretty solid though the automated breaking is a little harsh. Primary complaint is the obnoxious false positive safety alarms and beeps when changing from cruise control to the highest regenerative braking setting. Would be amazing to be able to personally modify the firmware.

Ioniq 6 SE, The finest EV I have owned

My 2023 Ioniq 6 SE was purchased with 1,500 miles and has over 50,000 miles now It has averaged over 4.1 m/kwh over its life so far. This is in exclusive upper New York climes. It has 20 inch tires which contribute to excellent range just slightly less than the RWD. In eco mode it runs in RWD but switches to AWD in any situation where traction is needed and is a blast to drive in any mode. The regen braking is VERY adjustable. It is quiet, predictable, powerful and I especially love the analog and digital dual nature of the dash which gives me knobs and dials for most controls, which I prefer in this world of touch screens for everything! Blue and red are cold and hot repeictively and up arrows mean more and down arrows mean less. I am old school and proud of it.

Decent power with comfort

I like my Ioniq 6. It drives well and very comfortable. But I'm very unhappy with missing wireless android auto. I hope Hyundai get agreement with Google to enable android auto.

Mostly good but some not so good

I’ve enjoyed this car. It has been back about four times recalled which is kind of a hassle. The thing that I’m not happy about is that the area next to the cupholders where I rust my hand while I’m driving has worn off a thin layer of something and now has a very worn kind of ugly look. The other thing that bothers me and I found that this is something other drivers are having a problem with is that the front of my ionic six is very Susceptible to small paint chips. I’ve owned a lot of BMWs so much as five years old they don’t have this problem the ionic has it. It’s only two years old.

Fun, Fancy, and Fast

First EV car, and I'm never going back. The pickup, smooth shifting, and quiet ride, were surprising and unexpected. For a sedan, it had a roomy backseat, and the Limited model had all the tech bells and whistles to keep you entertained and safe at every turn.
