Great in many ways, but don’t buy new.

What I love: Fast! Well appointed cabin; the sedan is almost unrecognizable as an EV, which is a huge plus vs. most models. What I hate: price and depreciation. What to change: floor clearance from battery makes interior clearance and trunk limited.

Great choice for people who know cars

Really well built. A sleeper performer. Good range. No one knows what it is but thinks it’s more expensive than it costs. The cons are the interior room and the dealer experience. Wish it had better wheel choices. The 2026 seems to fix the problems with the long wheelbase.

EV 80

A joy to drive. Very quiet and comfortable. Great sound system. High speed chargers charge to 80% in 20 minutes in the summer and about 30 in winter even with using the battery pre-conditioner. Acceleration is amazing when needed. Heated seats and steering wheel much appreciated.

Most Underrated LUXURY Electric Vehicle!

This is my third EV and I have only owned Electric Vehicles for the last 5 years starting with a Tesla Model S and this EV is the BEST so far. A real looker inside and out, QUIET, Very Luxurious, unbelievably loaded with so many features, extras and safety technology, a 21 speaker Lexicon audio and lastly it's really economical to operate. Close to 300 miles of range (it actually exceeds EPA rating in warmer weather) if you don't "hot dog" drive it! Plenty of power to get out of its way- in fact it can beat most common gas vehicles off the line :) This is everything my Tesla Model S should have been; a true LUXURY Electric Vehicle. The Genesis Electrified G80 comes with an unparalleled FIVE (5) year bumper to bumper warranty and a TEN (10) year EV powertrain and battery warranty AND 3 years of FREE charging from Electrify America stations. Genesis has a really great EV luxury SEDAN in the Electrified G80 (not everyone wants to drive an SUV!) that should be considered as a first choice when shopping the European EV sedan brands that could cost you some $10, 20, 30 THOUSAND Dollars or more and not get the same level of luxury, features or technology as the Genesis G80 EV.

EV at its finest!

Genesis has raised the EV bar with the release of its 2023 GV70EV. One month of ownership has left me totally impressed with the fit, finish, and performance. The Glacier White interior with Copper trim is even more stunning up close and personal and was immediately ceramic coated along with my Vik Black exterior. Three years of free Electrify America charging has been the cherry on top with its quick and convenient “fill up” and driving range regularly exceeds to anticipated amount. I was fortunate to take delivery in time to take advantage of the $7500 Federal Tax EV Incentive and also received the $500 NYS EV rebate. Anyone in the market for a truly distinctive EV vehicle should put the GV70EV on their short list.

A stunning luxury EV Sedan

It was love at first site when I first laid eyes on my 2023 Electrified G80, Capri Blue exterior with Havana Brown interior. The first drive had me amazed at how quiet it was, incredible performance with unbelievable standard luxury features at a price below $82K. I drove it home that day. After 3-months of ownership I can honestly say that I am a very happy new Genesis customer. I can't wait to see what Genesis offers in future EVs. The Electrified G80 has set a very high bar to follow.

Great Car

This is a great car. It looks great, drives fantastically, is easy to charge, and is very roomy. I looked at all the current electric vehicles out there, and found this one to be the most exciting of the current electric cars on the market. A bit expensive, but I think it will last for years to come!

Electrified G80

Truly a great car. Only negative is small trunk size because of size of battery. Fun to drive, to say the least. Like being on a rocket, but wrapped in luxury. The ride is incredibly smooth and I have enjoyed driving this car. Long distances don't feel to long!

Met all expectations, and more. I love this car.

Best car I've ever owned. This is my first electric car, and my first Genesis, and it certainly won't be my last. It delivers a fabulous driving experience and a head-turning design at a very fair price. Even the buying experience was a pleasure. I couldn't be more pleased.
