2024 F 150 Platinum Power Boost
Former truck was a Ram 1500 TRX. In comparison the Ford rides much better, Brakes are much better. Truck overall feels much better built and put together. One gripe is Ford doesn't offer the 5.0L V-8 in the Platinum trim. Really wish it had a V-8. Seats are very comfortable and adjustable. Interior is beautiful and a nice place to be on long trips. Has a ton of unique features. Blue cruise is a self driving ability on major highways. Works surprisingly well. The onboard generator is great for camping, working or powering your house in a emergency. It has a built in scale for the bed. Has a unique little compartment for tie downs in the bed. Bed camera is useful to monitor your load. Electric closing and opening tailgate is handy. Sound system is finally decent for stock. I have owned F 150's in the past and the stereo was always a disappointment. I hate the dumb hybrid noise the truck makes when backing up. They could get rid of that. Fuel economy is woeful for being a hybrid. Only real benefit is the onboard generator. Like it a lot better than the ram in everyway except the power and sound of a V-8.
