OLD FAITHFUL

I have had my Dodge Intrepid for almost 19 years now! This was my first new car, and it has not disappointed me at all. The only thong I can't figure out is why the battery was put in such a way, the tire has to be removed to get to it?

My Intrepid experience.

The car is a good fit for me from the moment I sat in it 15 years ago. It was the right color, price and most of all....comfortable. Fairly large fellow so getting in/out of a car is a big deal for me. Easy to do both and once in? Plenty of room. I like to detail it myself to keep it as when I first bought it. 16 years old and no big problems w/ her. Keep her oil changed and fluids checked regularly. Should last me another 15 I would think.

Ideal overall

Because our family must have a large trunk - (wheel chair, walker, oxygen) a smaller car would not be useful. For the size and age of the car the mileage equals or beats many mid-sized cars. When I hear of 30-32 MPG from a newer vehicle which is much smaller, 1st thought is Wilkinson needs to fix that or the car is a bad design. We still get better than that.

My Intrepid

I've had my car since 2002 at the beginning with the exceptions of a few things gone wrong with the car that thankfully were still under warranty & taken care of I love my car. It runs great, it's comfortable & the best part it's paid for. If I was to buy another car I would buy another Dodge. I'm kind of eyeing the "Charger", just haven't made up my mind.

2002 Dodge Intrepid

I bought this car new, and on an impulse. I needed to feel secure in a larger car because I drove on the beltway for work daily! The style was the thing that caught my eye from day one. For almost 14 years, the repairs were because of normal maintenance and use!
