I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid

This car was bought new in 2000 by my Mother. she drove it until her death in 2009. I now drive it and have always LOVED everything about it. Have drove it on many vacations with no problems occurring. Have things fixed and replaced as needed and never plan to give it up. It is comfortable for me to drive--seat is perfect, has the smooth drive I like, Etc.. I hope to drive this car until I die..Have no desire to replace it.

2000 Dodge Intrepid

Classy and sassy

I bought this Intrepid R/T with 105K miles. It needed some work on the front suspension, struts and timing belt replacement. Since then it's been running fine. I now have 135k miles and recently got the Check Engine Light. The transmission also started shifting unevenly. The transmission shop test drove it and quoted me $500 just to drop the tranny to diagnose it. Considering the age and miles on it, I chose to have the fluid and filter(s) changed and a quart of Lucas additive put in. So far it works great! I really like the looks and performance. I hope to keep it for quite a while.
