Not going back
This is long, but lots of info. Brought in my car for my second oil change. Just like the first appointment I got a list of things that they “suggested” I needed to have done. On that list was a new rear wiper and changing the engine air filter and the cabin air filter. I said I would take care of those items myself. Now at my second appointment I’m told I still need to have those items replaced. I asked if they looked at the filters and the wiper and she said no, she was basing it off of the fact that Carfax did not report that they had been change. When I told her I changed them her answer was that if I did it myself it was not reported to Carfax 👀Also I was sent pictures of my battery and was told it was in bad shape and needed to be replaced, this was marked urgent. Then I was called and i explained that my battery was replaced in the last 2 years. She then said the battery in my car was from 2019. My car is a 2021 so that’s impossible. Keep in mind she said those are the same batteries that they installed. I called the mechanic that installed the battery and was told is was a 2023 battery and they would replace it for free under warranty. When I called back to say I was all set she said she called the battery company and they confirmed what my former mechanic told me and said she could get it warrantied but I would have to pay almost $50 for labor. It seems like they are trying to sell things that they are not even looking at. So I paid $97.45 for an oil change and I think that will be my last visit there.

Routine maintenance for daughter’s vehicle
I have been going to Green Meadows for many years. The thing that kept me going there was the honesty of their employee Dave. He always told me what the problem was and never made me do more than was necessary to my car, but always kept safety first. Although Dave isn’t there anymore his legacy is. Stephanie is definitely also a reason why I keep coming back. Caring and kind and very helpful. They stand behind their work.

Always a Pleasure
Finding a trustworthy mechanic can be tough, but Green Meadows Automotive is the real deal. They are prompt, honest and reliable. I never feel like I'm being upsold on repairs I don't need. Highly recommend!

Pre-purchase inspection
Stephanie was great! She called me 3 different times to explain, update, and review the results of the inspection I had ordered on a vehicle I was ready to purchase. It identified a needed $3,600 oil leak repair! Dodged a bullet! I highly recommend Stephanie and Green Meadows Automotive. Very professional and thorough!

State Auto Inspection
I forgot twice to bring my truck for my appointment. They just rescheduled me and were nice about it. Some shops would have been rude gave me attitude. Plus they adressed some preventative items I would not have thought about

Always Fantastic!

Amazing first experience!

Car inspection
I needed to have a car inspection done quickly. I was able to get an appointment promptly and was greeted warmly upon arrival. My inspection was done immediately and there were a fee minor repairs thay needed attention. They gave me a quote and then did the repairs at a fair rate. They also informed me of issues that will need attention soon, but did not pressure me into anything. I would definitely take my car there again for service.

Quick and Affordable
Green Meadows Automotive found the issue and then notified me of the estimate to fix by text. The inspection report was clear and once I approved the estimate they had it fixed in a day. Will definitely send my friends here!

Great Service by Professionals
Green Meadows continues to excel in super service to maintain our family vehicles. Stephanie and Shop Manager Mark are top notch dealing with customer scheduling, reception, and post service assistance for its clients. I have never felt like a “transaction” or another “number” but rather a valued client.

The GM team of mechanics is probably one of the best in the Wilmington area. They are experienced to deal with any vehicular issue. Billie, a seasoned GM mechanic, is my “rock star” who has worked on my “vintage” car over the past 5 years. Before any repair or service is performed (except routine items like an oil change or inspection), Stephanie or Mark will discuss with you the issue; the planned fix, time needed, and cost. In most cases, the issue is documented with photos that track these items and their resolution. Additionally, the urgency of the repair is noted. As a result, I am much more aware of my car’s overall mechanical wellbeing and focused on those issues necessary for the safe and efficient operation of my vehicle. Final comment is about cost. Having been a past client of both a dealership’s service department and a private garage, I have never felt that my service by Green Meadows was overpriced or filled with questionable charges. The value is good for the excellent service I have received. As a result, I trust Green Meadows and it’s dedicated team members in the front office and in the service bays. Thank you.

My new mechanic
I recently moved to the area and needed a mechanic to work on my Jeep. I contacted the local dealership and they quoted a ridiculous price. Plus, they didn't give me a confident feeling about the service I required. I searched for a Jeep mechanic and found Green Meadows Automotive. I visited the shop and discussed the service with Stephanie. I left the shop and she sent me a text message quote with all the parts, labor and shop costs required. The price was in line with my research. Once I agreed to the quote. She set up the appointment. A few days later the service was performed. The service was performed perfectly. My Jeep was returned to me as clean as I left it. I found my new shop.
