First glitch

Received a quick response.
I received a quick response after my review to resolve the issues that occurred. They worked with my schedule to get my car in to look at the damage and figure out the best way to go about fixing it. I took my car in today to have it looked at, they decided the best course of action, started the process of getting the damage fixed, and I was out of there in less then 20 minutes!! I’m very pleased with how quickly I received a response and how quick and easy starting the process of getting the damage fixed was. The reason I’m giving 4 stars though is because the damage still needs to actually be fixed and when that happens, if everything goes as planned and no other damage occurs, I will gladly give 5 stars!!

My car left with MORE damage then it showed up with.
The reason that I’m giving one start is because my car was damaged in 2 separate locations while being repaired. I brought my car in to get the headliner replace after Safelite damaged it while repairing a leak that occurred after they replacing my windshield. On December 29th 2018 I got my oil changed and asked about getting my headliner replaced and the gentleman that I spoke with, James Woll, was very helpful and immediately started the process of getting it replaced. He told me he would contact me as soon as he got a response back from Safelite since they were paying to replace my damaged headliner. I got a call a few days later and scheduled my appointment for January 11th 2019. During that appointment some damage to my vehicle had occurred. When James came in to go over what had been replaced and give the keys back he informed my boyfriend who had brought my car in, that the back right panel had been cracked while they were trying to remove it to replace the headliner. He was honest about what had occurred, he didn’t try to hide it or act like it didn’t happen which I really appreciated. The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because of the damage, Mr. Woll was great, he was up front and honest, ordered the panel that was damaged, and let my boyfriend know that as soon as the part arrives that he will give us a call to schedule a time and day to bring my car in and get it fixed. Mr. Woll took ownership of what had happened and I genuinely appreciate that. So after my boyfriend brought my car back to me I looked at the new headliner and the back panel that had been damaged. When I was looking at the upper left corner (where the damage to the old headliner was), right where my oil change sticker is I noticed a crack on my windshield right behind that sticker. I got out of my car to look at it because it looks like a crack from a rock hitting my windshield but when I went to feel it there was nothing there it was totally smooth. So I got back into my car and took a closer look at it for the inside and that’s when I realized the damage was actually on the inside of my windshield. There is a chunck taken out of the oil change sticker and right behind that is a crack in my windshield. It’s is obvious that something made contact with the inside of my windshield and caused the damage. As soon as I found it I called the service department and James answered the phone, I explained to him what I found and he told me that he’s not sure how that would have happened because they don’t and didn’t use any tools around that area when they were replacing my headliner. He told me that when the part for my back panel comes in and I bring my car in to get it put on that they will look at the damage made to the inside of my windshield as well. So with all that being said my reason for the 1 star is because my car left the dealership with more damage then it had before my appointment. Besides the damage James was very helpful, he took ownership for the damage, didn’t try to hide it, he didn’t blow me off about the damage to my windshield, he immediately ordered the replacement part for the cracked panel, and was just all around pleasant and I give him 5 stars for all of his help. Unfortunately though my car did get damaged in 2 separate areas so I am only giving 1 star. I would still recommend this business solely because the customer service is great and this is the only negative experience I’ve had and it’s being handled it a very professional and timely manner.

 I know this must be frustrating for you. If we have in fact damaged your windshield, I will have it replaced for you. I would like to have you come by sometime soon so I can inspect the windshield a head of time, so we can to order a windshield. I would like to replace the windshieldt at the same time as we rep[lace the interior trim piece if needed. If you need, we will provide you with a rental car.
