didn't handle important issues
My primary purpose was routine maintenance and the smell in headrest, When closing out, I was told that they didn't notice smell and it would take a longer appt. to handle plus headlight issue was not fixed. I have been leaving the windows down in the garage to stop the smell plus when weather permits driving with windows open. If I knew it had to smell for you to fix it, I wouldn't have done that. Plus if I knew it would take longer to handle I would have made other arrangements. As I am a snow bird and had to wait nearly a month for this appointment, I am extremely disappointed!. I will be heading back to Michigan in late April plus a long driving vacation in two weeks. So we and our company will get the unpleasant smell for our entire trip and for our two day trip back to Michigan.
I have had nothing but positive experiences in the past. But after this visit, I will not be back. As much as I dislike the dealership in Michigan, in the future I will plan all my maintenance during our time in Michigan.

Great customer service, terrible timing
Appointments are booked so far in advance it makes it impossible to get in. And then when you do, you’re waiting 3 hours for a simple service.
I will say, customer service is exemplary. And always has been. Which is why I am still rating this high and recommending Hyundai. I just wish their scheduling and servicing would be more efficient.

Great work!
My A/C is icy cold now they even detailed it! Looks as nice as the day I bought it from them...thank you and keep up the great job! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Located in a nice area in case they take a couple of hours. Food, drink and mall all close by.

Follow up from service issues
I wanted to say that I am very happy that Hyundai of Wesley Chapel to take my concerns into consideration and address the issues with my car and finally found a resolution of the problem with my car. I am very happy that they were able to seek out assistance with the manufacture and repair the transmission issue that I had and even resolve the headlight issue I am now having. They provided a car for me to drive so I am able to go to work and take my son to and from all his soccer games especially in the busiest time of his season. I want to say thank you to AJ especially because he always takes great care of me and my car!!! I even might purchase the Kona once she gets her license because that car is perfect for anyone who is a beginner driver!!!

This is a follow-up to my original 2-star review. There was no issue when I checked my vehicle in for maintenance with Service Advisor James Powers. He earned five stars. As far as the other issues, the Service Manager Justin reached out to me and offered consideration in order to make up for my bad experience. I gave him honest feedback and will give Wesley Chapel Hyundai another try when my vehicle is due again for periodic maintenance.

Going Down Hill Fast
The service dept used to be the best in the area. Since Lithia took over it has been substandard performance. If you want to wait five plus weeks for an appointment, expect so so customer service, and like oily finger prints on the exterior and interior of your vehicle, this is your place.

Customer service was professional
Everyone was very nice and kept me informed of progress on my car . However having to wait 3 weeks for an appointment and then waiting 4 1/2 hours on the day of service (for an oil change and new tires ) was excessive.

Had a great experience. If they could figure out a way to get cellphones to work in the building it would be perfect. Literally everything is perfect here except for that.

Poor communication
I have always trusted Hyundai of Wesley Chapel with my car since getting my second car from them instead of the Hillsborough dealership because they always tell me the truth about my car but I feel now they are pushing me to try to buy new car when I just got a new engine and there is less than 90k miles on the car .
