Not my favorite car
I have been a Nissan girl for a long time. When it was time to replace my Pathfinder 2 years ago, I looked at and ultimately purchased the Cross Sport Atlas. It's 4 cylinder with plenty of pep. It handles like a dream. There have been however,multiple issues with the vehicle. A rattling in the undercarriage took 4 months to fix. The computer is screwy and warnings go off when there is nothing wrong. At one point the car told me to check the oil immediately. When I stopped and tried to open the hood, the hood latch broke. Vehicle had to be towed to a nearby dealer (who was wonderful) but they couldn't fix so they really couldn't identify oil problem but saw no leak. I was traveling and they told me to continue home to local dealer who had the car for 2 days, fixed the latch and said there was no oil issue. 5 months later same light came on. trip back to dealer who put something in engine and told me to drive it for 200 miles and come back. after yet another trip to the dealer they found nothing wrong. I fully believe these are all computer issues. I also get the BIG RED YOU'RE GONNA CRASH", light at random times. I feel confident that I will have future computer issues that probably won't be covered and cost a fortune so I'm likely not to keep this car too long.
