Very reliable car

Nothing to hate in about this car....very reliable car is 20 years old with over 260xxx miles and still going strong no leaks just regular maintenance overall I give this car a 100 out of 100 as this was the last year nissan made a true Japanese car that will go on for years

99 Nissan Maxima

I have owned this car for a little over 10 years. It has been hands down the best car I have ever owned. It is a solid, well made car which handles like a dream. It has great pick up and even though it is a 6 cylinder it gets really good gas mileage. Only twice in all that time has the car not started, one time being that it needed a new battery and the other was a starter. It is super reliable and in remarkably good condition. Maintenance was always done with oil changes every 3000 miles. I'm confident that I will get many more miles out of it. A great choice for a car, I only wish that they were still made like this year and model! The best ever made!

1999 Nissan Maxima

In the course of quite a few decades I have owed many vehicles, cars and SUVs. Of all of them my favorite was my 2004 Lexus RX300 which had 225,000 miles on it when it was totaled in a multiple vehicle crash. Following that closely is my 1999 Nissan Maxima which I purchased new. It has required minimal maintenance over the years and has proved most reliable. This particular model was built in Japan and the parts were over 95% Japanese in origin. The new Maxima does not compare well at all to this model

It will be a sad day for me when I have to get another car. This is the best car I have ever owned!

Maxima 99

I absolutely love my Maxima! It's a solid driving and riding car. It has great pick up and handling and I plan on driving it for a long time or until the tires fall off (which ever comes first)! However, for me this is the last year of the solidly built Maximas.

Why I drive Nissans

This is the third Nissan that I have owned over the past 20 years. I made the mistake of trying a Volvo for a year or so 10 years ago & promptly corrected same by buying my current Maxima. All three have keep me going on numerous road trips.
