Love my car

I have always been a Honda owner and I would say I would never drive anything but a Honda. But after I test drove my Altima I fell in love with it, it so roomy and spacious, good gas mileage, low maintenance and it has a good pickup on it without any hesitation. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a car. My son and his wife drove it for the weekend and they traded in their Kia Optima for one. My coworker was also in need of a new vehicle, we went to lunch one day in my car, that weekend she brought her one.

I liked this car until the air bag light went off and they told me I would have to pay over $2,000 to completely replace the passenger seat to fix a " bad module " ! That is just insane to charge so much for a safety issue . The other thing is the synthetic oil changes that cost so much ! I would not buy another one .

Loyal fan

It's my 11th Nissan, my 4th Altima. It's the only brand I've bought since 1982. In all that time I've only had 2 repairs beyond normal maintenance: the steering rack on a 1985 300ZX* and the heater blower on a 2006 Altima. I usually put in ~ 100K miles on a car and have been averaging > 35K/year on this 2014. *It's the only car I ever bought an extended warranty for.

Unacceptable noises come from the brakes every morning. Repaired once under warranty. Worse than ever at this time.

Nissan Altima 2014 Review

Transmission broke at 20K miles and had to be replaced. Car was out of town and got stuck. Brought car in again because car making klunking noise - it was the transmission or something on the transmission that had a loose bolt. Key would not start the car - brought back two times. Something hanging from the car - brought in to reconnect from the bottom of the car. I feel that for a car with only $45K on it, I brought it in with problems too many times already. It seems like I may need to get an extended warranty with all of the problems so far.

My 2014 Nissan Altima

It 's my 3rd Altima and my 11th Nissan going back to 1982. They just keep getting better. The only repairs I've needed on 11 cars are a steering rack on an '85 300ZX and a heater blower on an '06 Altima. I run them to and over 100K miles. Each new car has had dramatic improvement in fuel economy, currently averaging over 30 mpg, and features/accessories.

Seats in front are to weak

i have noticed the seats are made for small people, I weigh 200 PDFs. And there is not much support, It took me several days to clean the cigarette smoke off the windows

The Altima shopping experience :)

It amazes me on the difference of the way the sale of my Nissan compares to my last vehicle purchase. The last time I purchased a vehicle it was a total nightmare, the staff was so unprofessional--it made me almost not want to step on another car lot ever again. I am so glad that I changed my mind! From the moment that we drove up to the Tacoma Nissan dealership I knew that we had made the right choice. The staff was so inviting, it was like a family. I am very happy on the choice of vehicle I made. I am a proud owner of a 2014 Nissan Altima and love that I made the decision to shop at Tacoma Nissan.
