Almost 300k and going strong
Our family loves this SUV -- heck, it's a member of our family! After 18 years and 285k miles, it is still reliable and smooth. It never once left us stranded (and I was a single mom!), and the only mechanical issue has been the alternator going out because of oil dripping on it. I could have fixed the oil leak for $1k, but our great mechanic figured out a shield. My kids and I have travelled all over in this and it went through their childhood sports bags in the back. We've slept in it, camped in it, learned to drive in it - my husband (2nd husband) can't get over its quality and ride. Seats are comfy, visibility is great, and feels so safe. I'd buy one again if Hyundai still offered them.
