Overall a solid vehicle - with some minor issues
I bought my 2011 Veracruz new. It has a little over 100,000 miles on it now. Mechanically, the vehicle has been outstanding. There have been zero issues with regard to all of the major systems. It runs very strong. There's plenty of torque for takeoff and passing at highway speeds. Ride is smooth and comfortable, even at high speed. There's loads of room inside and the folding 3rd row of seating is very convenient.
The only complaints I have are with little things. For one - the front door seals are not the right size for the door openings. They are constantly coming loose and have to be pushed back into place. Very annoying. Secondly, the vinyl panel for the glove box slowly warped over time, causing it to curl outward at the bottom. It's kind of weird and gets in the way of legroom at times. I am looking to replace this part when I can. Also - the TPS system flakes out from time to time. I get a warning that the system is malfunctioning (just a light) on the dash. It's not a low pressure warning, but instead, a warning that the system itself has a problem. I asked the dealership about this. They told me it had to do with the frequency the system uses to communicate. Apparently, the same frequency is used by other systems and these other systems produce interference that make the Hyundai think its TPS system isn't working. I think that may be BS, but I have just lived with it.
Overall, this has been a good, reliable vehicle. Would be 5 stars without the minor annoyances listed above.
