Multiple decade Hyundai buyer

If you make the effort to review previous communication to customer service a great deal can be learned about why we are so unhappy with the 2025 Hyundai Limited hybrid. From being deceived by the salesman and then turning around and asking for a 5 star review or he would be in trouble, this is the last Hyundai for this household.

It makes a slapping noise

It makes a slapping noise when I drive it on the freeway (more than 50 mph) under the driver’s side. I already took it to the dealer but they didn’t find the problem; unfortunately, still makes that noise and it’s getting worse. Also, the air fan stays on sometimes when the car is off.

Somethings good and some not

Hate that it takes so ling for radio to come on. Unsafe that it doesn’t start until you are driving. Hate that there is no way to keep radio on favorites and it is several step to get back to favorites. Auto windshield wipers on high are too slow in drizzle and should be a way to make faster. Should be able to open door, hit inside lock button and have door lock when you close it.

Excellent car

Great vehicle with a few caveats. The Tuscon is loaded with features and carries a significant learning curve. It would be helpful to have a 'Quick Start' manual. The gas mileage is a bit disappointing. The 'Bang for the Buck' outweighs any other criticism. It competes with vehicles costing 50% more.

A beautiful car with all the toys

I bought a Hyundai Tucson hybrid in 2025. It is a great car and has all of the toys on it that I like. From the heads up display to the multi camera system it works very well.

Great SUV but some mechanical issues

Had several recalls already and had to take in twice for drivetrain issues. Ended up having to change rear axels (warranty). I still have issues with dash lights going off or the heads up display going off if the road has bumps. The dealership told me the recall was done over the air but issue still exist. It’s hard because I overall like the suv, it rides and drives good. Smooth ride and great features just the mechanical issues make me wonder if this car will last a few years without any other mechanical or electrical issues. Once while driving all the dash lights came on. When I got home and turned off the car the dash lights stayed lite. I had no choice but to leave the car and hope the battery didn’t die. Luckily it didn’t and the next day there was no dash lights. The dealership couldn’t find a issue.

I love this vehicle! It has every safety feature I could possibly imagine, drives very smooth, handles great, and so many options I still haven't figured them all out. It has the fancy without the fancy price tag.

No tow wiring. Powering down is stupid.

1) the specs say it can tow. We were able to easily install a hitch from UHAUL. We were unable to tow our trailer for 1.5 years until an option available for trailer wiring becameavailablefromUHAUL. 2) The vehicle senses an attached trailer and gives audible and dash trailer reminder alerts frequently. These sound like collision avoidance alerts, causing me frequent mini panics. 3) The eyeball sensor is a hazard. It cancels cruise control and interrupts my flow in traffic if I wear sunglasses or shift in in my seat wrong. 4) The Bluelink is designed for one owner account. Since my husband is signed in, for every one of it's frequent glitches, I have to wait until he's available to give me the code for re-linking. The fingerprint sensor works 1/3 of the time. The rest of the time, I have to use his PIN to use our car. I want my own account. 5) no one at the dealership has a vehicle with this system. They only know how to set up an account. They are unable to help us navigate it. We both want to use our phone as a key, but no one at the dealer can help. We know more than they do, so they can't help. 6) This vehicle powers down and cancels key access randomly. The secret fix for reactivating the vehicle is to pop open the back hatch, while holding the key. However, we all thought it was a Bluelink battery drain. We didn't know there isn't a 12volt battery. The trickle charger I use on my other hybrid vehicle sparked with attempted use. The dealer had us buy a special trickle charger, but the battery died. We followed the dealer and manual- we scratched up the paint by the door handle while prying off the emergency key access to use the 12 volt reset button. Finally, one guy on Reddit told us to just pop the hatch. It is ridiculous that you don't make sure the dealers and owners know this. 7) put regular size wheels on all trim levels. Don't make us have to pay for expensive replacement tires. It's stupid that I can't use snow chains on my SUV that I bought for winter driving. 8) we want folding side mirrors. 9) we want real colors, not just white and pavement colors. . Your blue, green, and grey look black.

I am very happy with my Tucson. I’ ve had it for a year now. No real mechanical issue to speak of. The car runs great. Surprisingly the car gets dissent gas mileage for a mid size SUV. Of course the hybrid factors into it to.
