Love the car

First hybrid, will never buy straight gasoline again. Quiet, comfortable ride with mileage like a compact. The electronic instrument panel is great. So many safety features. Lots of head, shoulder and leg room.

Looks better than performance

Its a good vehicle if had less interior noise and vibration. Hybrid motor is too weak on EV mode. Fuel range show in screen is amazingly accurate and depends your gas type go average 420 miles with full fuel.

Great Value

The car rides very smooth. I love the way the car looks. I feel very safe when driving it. I love the way the headlights light up the road. When considering the car it just so happens that my bother bought the same car. We were able to drive it when we visited him and we were sold. It was just what we were looking for.

Good not Great

Sleek roomy interior. Just enough flash without being over tech so that it’s clumsy and wasteful. Mileage not the claimed 37. More like 31 and that’s only if you correctly coast frequently to engage the EV system Everything else is good but before you buy the Hyrbrid model put it in reverse. You have to be happy with the annoying backup beep alarm because you cannot turn it off. Sounds like you are working at a construction zone and cannot be turned off

Handles great on the road

We live in a mountainous region of the West so it's important that I feel in control of the vehicle. It handles great, corners great, and has good brake action (not overly sensitive). I feel like I'M driving the vehicle rather than the VEHICLE driving me.

Fits the Bill

Looking for a vehicle that's reliable, comfortable, gets great gas mileage, and gets great service from the company and dealership. Found it all! Have been very satisfied so far. My only complaints would be the interior vents are not as maneuverable as I would like, and the gas mileage is not quite as high as advertised.

Good value for your money

Purchased this vehicle a month ago.Have driven about 1500 miles since then, so my experience is limited. However, from what I have encountered so far, the vehicle offers good value for your money and I would have actually given it 4.5 stars. The ride is comfortable and very quiet (the latter being my requirement due to noise irritating my tinnitus). build quality seems to be high: there is no rattling, shaking, squeaking noise anywhere and door, hood and tailgate fit is excellent. The hybrid engine usually starts from a standstill in the EV mode and then turns on the combustion engine. That process is very smooth and almost imperceptible. In Eco mode, the motor operates very conservatively. Switch to Sport mode, and the engine is quite peppy. The touchscreen display takes some getting used to but is reasonably well laid out. Safety features (lane assist, blind spot warning, auto high beam) are standard on my model, and seem to work acceptably most of the time - although I would not want to depend on them with my life. On the "wish-this-were-better" side are the lack of adjustments of the passenger seat (has only forward and back, with full adjustments available in the top model at over $4k more), the very low level of tint on the side/back windows, and the ineffective mud guards which, in conjunction with the angling of the side/door panels of the car, make the vehicle susceptible to accumulating dirt very quickly. The real life fuel consumption in our hilly area is at around 33 mpg so far. Hoping this will improve a bit and would certainly be better on more level roads. Overall, with the standard 100K mile warranty on the drivetrain and the extended warranty we purchased, I am confident that this car will hold up well and provide years of good service and retain good resale value. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this vehicle to family and friends.

Hybrid Highway mileage less than estimate

The Tuscon is a very nice mid-size SUV. I purchased the hybrid vehicle as i drive a lot of highway miles and the mileage is well below EPA estimate. Other than that the car is fantastic, it is nice to drive and is very smooth. It also has a lot of features that work well. The sound is very good and the car is also quiet

Stylish, comfortable, responsive, but not the fuel efficiency advertised.

I am on the road a lot. I bought this on the selling point of 38/37 mpg. After 10K miles of driving it, it won't do more that 29/30mpg. Disappointment. I wish I would reconsider my purchase. I am a regretful buyer.

Great car with obnoxious rear beep that will wake up the neighborhood

This car drives well and has good acceleration and it looks good. The gas mileage is not as good as predicted although it's still around 32 miles per gallon rather than 37. It's thoughtfully laid out. The major problem is that it beeps as loud as a back up tractor in construction when you back up and will wake up the neighborhood.

Mileage not accurately advertised

Vehicle was supposed to get 38 mpg, but we get about 25 average. There are some issues with minor annoyances, such as the super loud backup beeping, a key fob whose liftgate button must be continuously pressed, & user- unfriendly controls. Overall, the vehicle is stylish and drives smoothly. It has all the bells and whistles.

As advertised. Just missed out on the upcoming facelift on the 2025 model we'll see Q1/Q2 2024

Overall, I'm very happy, especially with the peppy hybrid transmission. I'm female and close to retirement, but still appreciate a good drive! I also wanted something smaller than my 10 yr old Ford Explorer Ltd. I'm probably not the typical use case, I actually purchased two cars on the same day, the Tucson for me, and the Kona for my daughter. Both 2024 models with the NLine trim. Here's where I feel slightly envious of her Kona. It has their new design with two 12.3 inch digital screens that are continuous. The software is much better (more modern), has all OTA updates, so less trips to the dealer. She also has nicer Alcatara seats and USB-C vs. USB-A. I get it, first world problems, but disappointing that I missed out on some of these nice upgrades. Subsequently, I've seen the upcoming 2025 Tucson and it is super. The interior is getting a very nice upgrade relative to the 2024, and some nice exterior touches too. If you can wait another 6 months, I highly recommend it. Bottom line, I'm extremely happy with the Tucson. I like it very much, and I'm trying to love it. As for reliability, we'll see. Hyundai has been doing better in JD Edwards ratings than previously, and their 5 year warranty gives some peace of mind. Footnote. I'm very glad I got a hybrid and not a fully electrified Hyundai. There is real controversy brewing over customers having to pay $60,000 Canadian to replace a battery not covered by their 10 year warranty. Checkout motormouth on YouTube for the details.

Ride, style, comfort, space

Love my hybrid Tucson! It's quiet, ready to drive and stylish. Great value for the money. The Amazon Gray color looks like grey in some light and dark green on other light. The cabin is extremely quiet on the road. The handsfree mode is intuitive. The safety features - like Auto -dimming the bright lights when in use is one of my favorite. Hyundai Tuscon Hybrid--Great!

A lot of car for the money! Feels well built, interior is luxurious and extremely quiet. Very fun to drive. Hybrid gas mileage is excellent. Acceleration is very good, especially for a hybrid. Beautiful and sporty styling, much more so than its competitors we considered (Honda CR-V and Subaru Forester).

Nice vehicle with lots of standard features

We were pleased to find that the basic Blue model included all of the features we were looking for including heated seats, blind spot monitoring, reclining rear seats, and built in navigation. We initially looked at the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid, but their base model is rather bland.

stylish suv

Smooth and stylish vehicle. very quiet ride. this suv has a great sound system. I wish I could get close to the estimated fuel economy that was advertised on this hybrid allthough it gets better mielage than the pure gas engine.
