New & Reliable
I had a difficult time adjusting from my old Dodge to the Sonata, but I've learned how to drive it compared to the Charger. Although it feels lightweight, I feel very secure and protected, and it's smooth and quiet on the road. It handles a little loose in the snow, but that's probably an issue of me not being used to it yet. I'm still getting accustomed to the technology; I think it's great and innovative to have all that tech, but I personally have a hard time navigating the system, especially while in motion. Still, it's something useful to have on hand if you can't access your phone; the Speech option is great.
One thing I do struggle with is the headlight toggle. While I do love the automatic option, it's hard to figure out how to turn off your automatic high beams when approaching another car without flashing them (example: when you're in a city with street lights and no longer need your brights, and they're off because they sense other vehicles, but you can't turn off the automatic system without flashing other vehicles). However, the automatic feature is nice and works great, but I wish it was a little easier to understand and test out without affecting other drivers.
Overall, I do like it and I think I'll come to love it; it's just some minor things that still take some getting used to. I drove the same car for six years, so it'll take more time to get familiar with a completely different vehicle. I would absolutely recommend the Sonata to anyone looking for what it can offer.
