Disappointed that the limited is missing several features.

For the extra price of the limited, I would have expected full power passenger seats, lighted glove box, powered open and closed trunk, heated rear seats, and walk away door locks. The engine needs to be turbo charged and the hybrid need a larger battery, or even a plug-in hybrid. Except for a poor experience with a dealer repair, the vehicle has given me good service for the first 12k miles. It is a bit under powered and the suspension is a bit to stiff.

Sonata Limited Hybrid

Love the car. Great gas mileage with the hybrid. There is nothing negative that I can say about this car. The air conditioned seats are the best. So enjoyable in the heat. The heated steering wheel is the best in the cooler weather

I love my sonata why did you get ris of the gas limited!

Hyundai should have never gone hybrid only with the Sonata Limited. It is a great car and has performed flawlessly for me. It is super smooth, quiet and has great performance. I especially love the technology especially the heads up display and smart park. ring back the turbo gas engine in the Limited.

I love my Hyundai

I'm happy with my purchase of my Hyundai Sonata. It runs well. I haven't had any problems with it. I did notice that the paint gets cloudy in certain areas on my car. I'm not happy about that. Other than that I'm happy with my purchase.

Sporty by economical

My 2023 Sonata N-Line has proven to be a very responsive and fun car to drive, but yet I am averaging 31+ MPG averaging in all types of driving. On long road trips, average as high as 38 MPG. The suspension is superior at handling, the transmission is decisive, and the ride is very comfortable. This car was purchased as my wife's primary car, but I end up driving it much of the time, and look forward to every trip doing so.

A terrific front wheel drive daily performance car with one caveat

Hyundai’s terrific attempt at a sports sedan. The entry prices good but there’s a caveat at this every day driver. Performance without a limited slip differential should never have been. You have just regulated yourself to a straight line get up and go vehicle and any attempt at moderate turning on the gas is a total tire wash out at lesser speeds. You are getting a DCT with horsepower and torque numbers but I need attempts at honing that skill set on a track or around town on some twisties. Licorice is one to ease off that gas pedal for fear of breaking traction, which is somewhat easy to do not even very close to the limit other than that. Again, the price is terrific so we must take certain compromises. Not only to Hyundai, but any low profile tire set up or push the patience of any driver in a bumpy metro road system that isn’t taken care of. In all fans very few manufacturers outside of the high end euro are able to tackle that but you are paying much more. And to reiterate performance can only be measured in a straight line nothing more. You do not take this car around turns with any seriousness.

Great car but could use a few more tweaks for 5 Stars

Pros: Looks, quiet ride, comfortable seats, handling, gas mileage and sound system. Cons: Needs manual shift mode for steep hill driving. Backing assist auto stop can be downright dangerous at times.

I will be trading it in for another car.

It stopped on the freeway.Transmission is not good. I will be trading it in for another car.U don’t like the car because I feel unsafe in the car the transmission is terrible in the car. That all I have to say.

Great vehicle!!

The Hyundai Sonata is by far a great car. My only issue that I have is the automatic shut off, at times the car will try to shut off at a stop and tries to start back up and shuts down completely. I have to put the car in park and turn it off completely and restart the car. I think that needs to be looked into.

My 23 Sonata Hybrid

Overall the car is nice. I have had a lot of compliments regarding the styling. The car has, as far as I know, every tech accessory on it that's available. That being said, many of them I don't use either because it's difficult when driving or the car simply won't let you use them while driving. The car performs well and the mpg is acceptable. I have not noticed any problems with the fit or finish other than with the weather tech type floormats. I can't secure the driver's mat. The owners manual says with the hybrid there is a lag when accelerating which having had a turbo previously is reminiscent to turbo lag and that is my biggest beef. I have only had the car for 13 and a half months (9659 miles), so a long term review cannot be given.

Terrible experience

Worst car I've ever owned. Three separate fuel injector failures within 25,000 miles. Stranded on road and had to be towed each time. Also had a fuel pump failure to go along with last fuel injector failure.

Surprisingly great value

I explored the Hyundai sonata hybrid, because of the features it had and the sticker price. Compared to my car it had more features and at a sharply reduced sticker price and longer warranty. It also had the 3 year maintenance package. A good choice, so far.

Great vehicle

Elegant and reliable car. Is has excellent security systems. There are, however, some issues with electronic features and difficult to update the system. The hybrid version is low on gas consuming, yet powerful.

Excellent but with one issue

The one issue is that the battery prematurely died. Less than 2 years old and only 12k miles. The car sat for 2 weeks in my garage and was dead as a door nail when I tried to start it up. Way too many things drawing on the battery when not in use. I tried several avenues however the battery could not be revived.

We have a 2023 hybrid sonata...6500 miles today and never had an oil change. Told to wait to 7500 miles but we are retired, travel w/truck and camper, had illnesses and want to be sure all okay as lower milage than normal.

Great gas mileage, love the driver assist functions.

I like the interior colors and comfort. Sunroof is nice. Could use back up camera warnings if getting too close to an object and not just vehicles passing behind. I really like the lane assist/driver assist features.

Except for an annoying recall early on my Sonata has been great.

An early recall required multiple trips to the dealer to correct. I had to leave it on one occasion but the dealer provided a loaner. Other than that problem my Sonata has proven to be an economic, comfort and performance superstar.

Quiet, Fast, smooth, 50mpg average

I bought this car exclusively to use for Uber everybody that gets in it comments on it how smooth and how spacious it is I now have almost 60,000 miles and it has ran flawlessly. Very happy with his car.

My S on the onata

I did something I never did before in my life. I went to Circle Hyundai with my 2017 Sonata for an oil change & came out with a 2023 Sonata. I spotted it on the showroom floor & literally fell in love with it. This is my third Sonata. I guess that says it all. I love the interior & the smooth ride. This car only had 3000 miles on it. Never owned by anyone. It was like it was meant to be. Couldn't be happier.
