Nice ride but a LOT of poor/glitchy technology

Since I bought the vehicle 2 months ago, I continue to struggle with the dash display and Android auto. The map on the car (I think it is the Blue link map) is absolutely awful! It is a black screen that can not be seen at all during the day. I have read the booklet and searched online and find no solutions. It takes up 1/3 of my home screen with just a black box. The XM radio (when it works) does not show the song title or artist like every other car I have owned. Just the station. Many times when I start up he car, the XM goes back to channel 1. It is not easy while driving to get the radio tuned in. If I use my Android Auto, sometimes it will just turn off XM and go silent, sometimes it will have podcasts to listen to, and other times play normal (what I want) XM radio. So this leaves me the choice to drive without a map (well a black box) or drive without sound. I spent a lot of money on this vehicle and have usually enjoyed the Hyundai products, but I am not satisfied with my Santa Fe at this point. We have a 2023 Palisade, and oddly enough, all the controls are flip flopped on the steering wheel. Since I drive both vehicles , It seems like I spend a lot of time looking at the wheel to make sure I am hitting the right knobs. The car does drive fairly nice and is roomy, but I am having trouble getting past some of these issues.

Good car for price

Love the car except that I can’t use cruise control with sunglasses on!! Living in SoCal, sunglasses are a must when driving and no cruise control with sunglasses is no bueno! Please allow cruise control with sunglasses.

My honest thoughts

I have owned 7 Hyundai vehicles in my lifetime. I was the main driver on my Elantras, a 2013 GT and a 2012 .my wife has generally been the primary driver on the 2 genesis and 3 Santa Fe’s. For the most part they have been reliable and comfortable. My only issue with the new 2025 Santa Fr is the tire warranty. The Pirrelli tires it came with developed a bubble on a side wall. It turned into a full flat tire. It only had 10,254 miles on it and when I inquired about assistance in replacing it, I got NO help from Hyundai Or Pirelli. So… what’s actually a good car has given me some anger issues . I have a hard time with a vehicle that has a 100000 mile warranty but can’t help with the tire issue.

Great SUV with Family Friendly Features and Luxury Feel

This has been a great family car for our busy family of 4. We use all 6 when guests visit and that's perfect. We went with the caligraphy model and love the extra feel of luxury it provides. The lights around the interior, the display screens, heated seats throughout, it's truly a great car. The only downside I would say is the shifting sometimes - it doesn't have a ton of pep. And also sometimes when switching gears (reverse to drive) or coming off the brake on a hill, we notice the car does roll some. Overall, we love the space, the legroom, the features (including the moon roofs!). It's been a great car to have to every day driving, beach weekends, and easy to parallel park.
