Smooth luxurious ride with a kick

First ever Hyundai and we are thrilled - we got the top of the line and paid very high price but the car delivers!!! Luxurious and comfortable interior, nice exterior, ton of features, and very smooth acceleration with quite a kick, especially under the sport mode! Overall very satisfied!

bought new, owned for 12 months with 5,000 miles driven

Very happy so far overall with the Calligraphy model. However it has only been a year and we have only driven the car 5,000 miles. We were happy with the 2013 Sonata that this car replaced. The quality of the car was good for the 10 years we drove it but that car only had 50,000 miles on it when we replaced it

Good quality build

Santa Fe build quality seems improved in comparison with competitors in 2023 and their similar vehicles at same price.l range. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Customer service was excellent. After agreeing to purchase terms, paperwork and getting us out the door after an exhausting day was the best part.

Much improved for 2023. We bought a Calligraphy. More power, quiet, better laid out interior, excellent safety features. We use this vehicle to pull a boat as well as a trailer full of equipment. The increased power along with all wheel drive makes this a simple, safe task. The layout of the car is pretty close to the luxury cars we have driven. I'm tall, my wife is short, and we both find that the driver position works for each of us.

Love the car.

My first Hyundai. Love the car. My Santa Fe is fully equipped with all the bells and whistles. Especially like the backup feature. It makes parking a breeze. Turn signals show how far away are the curbs.

Pros outweigh the cons

The all wheel drive Calligraphy has all the features of my 2020 Genesis G80 and almost as many horsepower. I lost considerable time and money because it did not have a spare tire. I hate the Idle Stop and Go. I learned that Hyundai road service is run for their convenience, not mine.

OK, NOT GREAT

Excessive noise, poor ride, poor miles per gallon, the exterior lock/unlock system intermittently does not function, navigation system intermittently does not respond to voice commands, navigation system intermittently clears prior destinations, system intermittently changes from US measurements to metric.

I am thrilled with my new car. So much cargo room and passenger comfort space. Easy to maneuver, fun to drive, excellent safety features for driver. Love the color - it is gorgeous. As someone with some small physical disabilities and who is short, this is an excellent mid size SUV that I can actually get in/out of and drive with ease.

Good for long drives

My main concerns is with windshield design it keeps cracking twice I had to replace and some features l had to compare with lower models like wireless car play wireless charging it’s not worth buying caligraphy model should have gone for lower ends

I feel like my family is in a safe car. Having a car that starts every time you turn the key is very important because it means i dont have to come and rescue my wife from a no start situation,and yes we have towing but I still get the call

I love everything about our new car except the lack of a spare tire. A tire maintenance kit is not what you want to rely on when you get a flat in the middle of nowhere. There HAS TO BE a temporary spare kit at a minimum for every new vehicle. The maintenance kit is BS. I shouldn’t have had to spend approx. $400 out of pocket to feel safe on trips.

Because of the issue I am experiencing I am frustrated and very disappointed. The Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy is a wonderful car (convinced two of my neighbors and they purchased).The experience I had with my Hyundai Tucson ( I convinced another neighbor to purchase)was fantastic and I am now regretting I traded in for the Santa Fe.

I love the amount of car I got for the price. I wish you had more colors to choose from other than black white or red I really wanted a dark blue but one was not available. Maybe next time I won’t settle. However the interior of the car is very spacious and I feel very safe in the car as well as my son driving it he’s a new driver the options to geo fence and put start times locks on the car is awesome. The remote links are wonderful option
