Great car.

We had 2018 Santa Fe which we liked very much but we were even more pleased with this 2021 Santa Fe. This is the fourth Hyundai I have leased and except for the Tucson I have been very pleased with Hyundai automobiles. Based on past experience I will continue to lease Hyundai automobiles

Amazing everything

Best car performance I've ever had (including Cadillac) as owner of several various domestic and foreign cars. Test drove car makes/models previously owned as well as new ones and found no close comparison!

Total comfort

I love my Hyundai Santa fe. It is fun to drive. More powerful than I expected for a 4 cylinder vehicle. I feel that it is dependable. Nice styling inside and out. I also love my panoramic roof. Lots of extra features also.

Hyundai does not correct defects

The drivers seat is positioned off center causing discomfort for drivers. Have to use a cushion to keep lip of seat from pushing into hip. Hyundai keeps stalling and not providing either a new seat or way to reposition

I love my Hyundai. I was very leery when I first purchased it because I usually only buy Japanese cars, but this car has met all of my expectations.

I love this car, from its styling to its performance. I live in upstate NY, where all wheel drive is a must. This vehicle handles well in all weather situations. The 100,000 mile warranty is a bonus! I highly recommend this vehicle.

Great improvement 2021

The Santa Fe needed the horsepower increase. It makes quite a difference with 277 horsepower compared with the one I traded in at 235 horsepower. It has a very smooth transmission with great gearing.

Excellent vehicle. Get more for your money then any other vehicle. Styling is great.

Very happy with purchase. Meets are my needs and looks great. Get lots of questions about looks of vehicle. Had family members express great comments about vehicle about ride and looks. They are considering the Santa Fe as a further purchase.

Love it, but it has a few issues

I love the appearance of the car inside and out. It's beautiful. However, I would have loved more choices of colors outside of the common colors. I like the driving assists. It rides smoothly and I love the extra compartments and the big, beautiful dashboard and controls, which were the main reasons why I decided to buy this car. Hyundai made a great effort loading the vehicle with many features to enhance the driving experience. However, I feel that it may have overdone it. The menu is so stacked with features, it makes finding things very difficult. For example, when I want to use the trip-o-meter, I have to spend ten minutes just flipping through the menu to find it, instead of just pushing a button like in my old car. That goes for many of the features in the menu. The Apple CarPlay is so unreliable, I sometimes want to disable and just use the Bluetooth - only I can't locate the Bluetooth. Too many features make it user unfriendly. Other than those issues, I am satisfied with the car.

I don't know

The door locks are horrible. This creates a very real safety issue. I cannot stand the car because of it. Also, greatly dislike having to manually turn off the engine automatic cut off on idle (Auto idle stop?). We loved the 2011 and 2018 Santa Fe's, so this is a huge disappointment.

reliable Transporation/ comfortable and medium size suv alot of new technology & safety rating too !!! Alot of good features and convivence extras equipment.. mid size SUV , love the big moon roof and quality if leather interior!

I’m at 10k miles now and I love this car! Wish it had a bigger fuel tank and heated side mirrors. Front grill is gorgeous but hard to detail with all the angles. They need to put the side view cameras in the center console because when you turn the wheel you obstruct the view of your gauge cluster where the camera comes up. Bring the brake lights up higher and make the strip on the back light up. I would also prefer a kick button for the tailgate. Sometimes it opens with the 3 second key fob detector and I don’t want it to. It’s hard to think of things I don’t like about this vehicle. What you get for what you spend is ridiculous!! The value is spectacular and that twin turbo is SOOOOO FAST!!!! It’s like having a baby Porsche Cayenne for 1/4 of the price! I absolutely love this car!! So much fun to drive and the headlights are super sexy good lookin’! Needs a spare even if it’s a donut. The tire inflation kit doesn’t give me the greatest sense of security if I were in the middle of a Canadian tundra a few miles from anything, but you can after market that.

New car for 2021

Excellent handling and ride, a lot of good options at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, there weren't many color options available. But that was due to cov-id the manufactures not supplying the dealers with cars.

Buy something else

Initially, I was very impressed with the car. It is loaded with lots of neat features and is very comfortable to drive and is easy to handle. However, after 10k miles the transmission failed as we were pulling out of the driveway. No warning or prior indication it was going to happen. I had it towed to the dealership for repairs where it sat for nearly 4 months waiting on a new transmission to be shipped and installed. In the meantime, I'm paying for a vehicle I cannot use, no communication from the dealership repair shop, and no idea when it would be fixed. The dealer also didn't have any loaners to use. "Supply chain issues, Coof," are the usual excuses these days. I guess you can blame that for the poor quality. I owned a 2003 years ago. Trans was replaced less than a year after owning it. I thought the quality had improved over the years. I guess I was wrong.

Survey

So far we are satisfied with the Santa Fe, however we have only had it a few months, the survey would be better if completed after a year, or so, of ownership. We had a 2009 we purchased new and sold in 2019 and were very satisfied although it had poor gas mileage. So far the 2021 is a little better with gas mileage but we'll know better after it is broken in This one has more technology that we baby boomers prefer and the manuals are poorly indexed.

very nice suv

Very constable suv and good looks, if it wasn't for the Passenger seat been to low and the lack of lights in the glove box and the center console I will give it a 5 rating. Very good looks and confort.

Great functioning vehicle

Car functionality has been flawless. So many safety features built into our Santa Fe Limited. Turbo supplies ample power along with good fuel economy. Very comfortable leather interior. Digital dashboard provides useful information.
