Great vehicle and value

My '22 Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid is a great all conditions vehicle. It's the most comfortable road trip car I've ever owned. Interior design, driver assist, quiet ride, and climate controls make long trips easy. Fuel efficiency is reasonable and battery range is OK for town driving. Handles snow extremely well even with standard all-weather tires. Roof rails are excellent for mounting accessory racks. Highly recommended.

Mostly very good

Like the ride and many features. Some things not so good and some annoying. Back up beep is ridiculously loud Speed of wipers goes from very slow to fast Apple play very inconsistent loading up Blind spot in mirrors for car warning Directions for things like lights coming on dash are not clear in book sometimes and hard to find.

Love the vehicle but plagued with problems

Bought in 2022. The car has been recalled at least one time . A purge valve was replaced , an EGR valve replaced and last week the transmission wouldn’t get out of neutral . A couple have been labelled “one offs “ but when googling I find the same issues in the forums . Service has been good , but will want to trade it before warranty expires or look into extended warranty. This is unfortunate because we absolutely love the car other than the reliability.

PHEV Santa Fe - Great Mileage in a comfortable SUV

Roomy SUV with fantastic mileage (gas engine gets 35 mpg). The Limited came loaded with all the goodies, The electric drive train is smooth and silent. Great for long trips. It has one quirk, since its a hybrid, federal rules require auto's after 2021 to make a sound when in reverse. Hyundai's make super loud god-awful noise that can wake the dead. . If you live in the country your neighbors won't hate you. Although, if you are or are planning on cheating on your spouse don't get a Hyundai hybrid, get a gas model instead.

SUV…can not tow with this car

My wife and I purchased this vehicle in hopes of towing a light trailer or tent trailer that we could go camping with. We had a trailer hitch and we thought a wiring harness installed the March 2023. They told me don’t worry they’ll call us as soon as it’s available. No one has called me to tell me anything other than me pestering the dealer asking where the wiring harnesses is? Talked to Hyundai corporate and they offered me $300 for my inconvenience as as long as as I assign paperwork that would not allow me to take any further litigation. I declined the offer. My wife and I feel we were cheated. They should not have installed the tow hitch. Everywhere on the internet it says this car has a towing capacity. All the advertising of other vehicles on TV . The money they spend to advertise. These vehicles do not hold their value. I would never buy a Hyundai/ Genesis product again and would highly recommend my friends and family do the same. Hyundai does not stand behind their vehicles.

overall review

Overall excellent quality. Features present in this vehicle that I would not expect in its class and would have expected to pay more. For instance heated rear seats. The ten year warranty is a plus and influenced decision to purchase. Complementary maintenance first two years a plus.

I like this vehicle

Great vehicle. I like driving it. It performs well. I have not yet had the chance to drive in snow, so I cannot assess its performance in snow. The vehicle looks very nice and is comfortable for the entire family. I hope it will be offered in all-electric in the coming years.

Nice vehicle just has had a few issues.

Santa Fe is my second time I have bought a similar vehicle in the past which I thought was well made. I have owned three Hyundai's in the past three years and they are very dependable. I have some issues with the seat making noises, the horn stopped working, the transmission hesitates when cold from reverse to drive...

Had a good experience but had to pay for a premium package at dealership which I really wasn’t interested in.

Had a good experience and enjoy the car. Had to pay for premium package which I wasn’t really paying interested in. I wish Hyundai comes out with a PHEV or hybrid Palisades. Would like the hybrid in a larger car.

Everything you want.

The vehicle has everything that I wanted, smooth ride and great mileage. Has many features I haven't used as yet. This is my third new Hyundai and the one that I am most satisfied with. Haven't found a vehicle with a better warranty yet.

Was hoping for a good new car experience

Poor experience from purchase to delivery to servicing- already had 2 recalls. Even for a new car, most things do not work as intended and is overpriced too for the value it offers. Could’ve been better off delaying my purchase

Safe, luxurious

This is my second Hyundai Santa Fe. I bought the hybrid plug-in this time. I was delighted to find all the additional safety issues that were not in my 2013 Santa Fe. It even tells me when a car is pulling away that is stopped before me. Pretty amazing technology in this new vehicle. Unfortunately when you get all these new little features, they do come with a few challenges so we’re still working out the kinks but overall I really really love this car. In the past, I have owned an Acura, Lexus, Dodge, Plymouth, Toyota, a Kia, Subaru, Honda, and BMW

Warning ⚠️ NEW CAR DIED!

This car has given me nothing but trouble. The electric battery has already died. I needed to be replaced, CarPlay doesn’t work, the seat heater had a short, and they couldn’t get the part! I recently just had to change a flat tire and the tire lock key was missing from the kit! This thing has been in the shop more times than I can count, and I am so frustrated. I don’t know what to do as it is now starting to lose acceleration and not keeping the hi-bred mileage as advertised! They sold this to me with a $10,000 DEALER UPCHARGE for just getting it off the lot!!!!

Excellent build quality, ride, features and economy!

This PHEV vehicle is perfect for our driving habits. 90% of our mileage is around town with little to no gas consumption. We regularly achieve an indicated 100+ MPG between fill-ups. The interior is luxurious and the ride is very smooth. I cannot recommend this vehicle highly enough!

You can drive without gas

Good vehicle overall, but after a year and 15K miles, I'm not impressed. If it's an (PH)EV, I should be able to drive on EV with a full battery, but not if you push the pedal hard or want to drive faster than 60mph.

Solid, reliable car

Overall very practical -- handles well and is roomy. It's reliable and with great safety features. App is super helpful and car very fuel efficient. Interior design could be improved. It's not the most exciting or stylish vehicle but a very practical and well priced family car.

Very Stylish and User Friendly

I bought my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe PHEV at the Hyundai dealership in Auburn, MA and they made it a very easy experience. The sales representative I worked with, Jeff, was very friendly and helpful. The car is super easy to use, and it's a beautiful build as well. I love it!

Better than gas

This is the best medium size suv if you drive less than 30 miles a day, you can drive at least 25 miles with battery only and the performance is best, not to worry about going to gas station in summer.
