We absolutely love our car - it may be almost too smart for us

This car is incredible, it rides smooth, gets great gas milage, and has so many features we are loving. It has a ton of charging ports and we love the wireless Apple Car Play and how adjustable the features are. The only problem we've had is it may be too smart for us. We would really like to figure out how to turn off the "driver needs a coffee break" feature and the distracted driving feature. We feel like these things should be optional. Also, we've had a few issues trying to figure out the seat adjustment and car locking features but that's probably user error. Overall, the space is huge in the car, it rides great, and we love how comfortable it is.

Currently in the shop, had to be towed 92 miles to nearest dealer.

The vehicle started to exhibit electrical issues, hatch not lifting, seats not coming up. Warning ABS indicator on dash, then nothing, no lights, won’t start. When I checked to see if window washers were working the front washers came on but I could not turn them off, the car was loaded on the tow vehicle with the windshield washers moving. By the time the car was delivered the washers had shut off, I am concerned of damage to an overheated motor (window washers) and potential scratches to the windshield

I had a 2005 Santa Fe and did not want to get a new car but my warranty was up in 2015, so I had to. I ended up getting a 2015 Kia Sorento. I regretted that decision as it had many problems and the transmission blew. When I was looking to get a new car in 2018, I wanted to go back to my Santa Fe but got a better deal on another Kia Sorento as they told me that my first one was a fluke and a lemon and that it wasn't typical for Sorentos to have the problems mine had. Reluctantly, I bought a 2018 Kia Sorento and the entire electric system died and it was in the shop for MONTHS before they could figure out waht was wrong with it. In 2025, I finally was able to trade it in and get back into a Santa Fe!!! I LOVE MY SANTA FE Hybrid!!!

2025 Hybrid Santa Fe Calligraphy is AWESOME!

There is so much to love about the Santa Fe Calligraphy Hybrid! Start with the finishes. It has the feel of a luxury vehicle at twice the price. Next, the gas mileage. I literally traded my 2024 Santa Fe Limited and my gas mileage doubled! And driving without a heads-up display will never be the same. It’s just fantastic. There are some minor issues. The biggest is that here in Texas, the sun gets hot. It’s impossible to leave a phone in the wireless charger on a sunny day. In both my 2024 and my 2025, I’ve had my phone shut down due to overheating. Hopefully it will be better in the cooler weather. I’ve give reliability a 10, but I’ve only had the vehicle for 3 months. I had my previous Santa Fe for 15 months and 8200 miles without a hitch!

Santa Fe Calligraphy

Overall I'm happy with my purchase. If I had to say the one big negative i have found is with the fuel-to-empty gauge. When I filled up the last time it read 577 miles to empty. After driving just 16 miles it read 545 to empty. The driving I did after filling up was city driving, not highway.
