2026 Hyundai Palisade Improvements

If I’m enrolled into data plan then my car should stay connected all the time and I should not have to log in every time I get into the car. Park assist should be turned off with the push of a button, not push and hold for several seconds.

Excellent Family SUV

The Palisade has been an excellent SUV for our family, it's been a better fit for us than we expected, it has plenty of space while still being easy to drive and has incredible features that are better than you would expect for its class. It's an excellent value for money and we've been extremely pleased.

The palisade is a very classic car with a lot of electric components which to me is real hard to learn. My salesman didn’t go over the features on my vehicle so I’m still trying to learn everything.

So far okay, but not as fully expected

Satisfied with choice based on look and feel and driving experience. However there have been some issues not expected with a new vehicle. Dealer said they installed all recall updates and gave me a requested printout of them. The seats seemed to continue to fold with one touch and dealer claimed the fix was based on stopping on lower pressure theshold. After the sale and next day an OTA update changed the behavior so that holding the buttons was required. Seemed dishonest to me. Secondly the battery died with the digital key. Disabled the feature and float charged the disconnected battery to 12.8V state of charge. After observing for weeks, the battery state of charge plateaus at 12.4V even after driving for 3-4hrs. Battery tables show this battery and charging system is operating at 70% charge. Confirmed by checking the number of hours remaining for dash cam is only 16hrs out of 20 when filled charged by a long trip. Plan is to discuss behavior with Hyundai maintenance department to see if the battery is up to specs. Otherwise monitor voltage to make sure I don’t get stranded.

Not liking the new toned down safety features.

I love Hyundai’s especially because of the safety features. But not liking the how toned down the safety features are currently. I have driven a lot of rentals and the only feature that needed tweaking in my opinion was the attention warning signal at the staring wheel.That was VERY sensitive. I also dont like that the display vehicle on the dashboard screen doesn't match the color of the actual vehicle.

The Cadilac I traded in was a better car then the Palisade Will not buy another

2026 Caligraphy Review

I love almost everything about this car. The safety and convenience features are amazing. The gas mileage is horrible. 1500 miles into my new car and I am averaging 15.5 mpg. My Ford Explorer averaged 19.

2026 Palisade Review

Nice comfortable midsize SUV. Comfortable interior is well designed. Inner door and dashboard panels mark up very easily by foot or hand trafic. Sound system is less than stellar for a vehical this expensive. Car is difficult to drive in normal mode witht the eight speed transmission. Sport is too much "sport" while ECO or normal have no accelleration as the transmission shifts up through the gears. While in normal mode pressing more on the accellerator forces the car to downshift and take off vs gradually accellerating. Car has more power than you need but you have to really push to get the car to accellerate in normal trafic.
