Bought this over luxury brands
We have always bought luxury brand vehicles, including Lexus, Mercedes, Land Rover, etc. I needed to replace a Lexus sedan that I’d had for five years. Still loved it & had zero issues but my job needs required a larger vehicle to carry conference supplies and I decided to purchase an SUV. I tried out everything from Porsche Macan, Lexus, Land Rover/Range Rover, Mercedes, etc. & probably look at 20 different cars. I planned to go with the Lexus RX because that’s the brand we typically purchase. However, after being at a Genesis dealership and the sales rep saying that a Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy model is almost the equivalent of what I would be spending $77k for their GV80 3.5 premium model but $25k less, I decided to look at the Palisade Calligraphy and once I did a ton of research I decided to try it out. Everything in this car is what I would have had to spend $80-100k for all the same bells and whistles,, and it should be way more reliable than almost all the luxury brands except maybe Lexus. We have always had a love/hate relationship with Land Rover because we love the looks and luxury of those vehicles but at some point you just know they are going to have majorly expensive issues and we did not want that. It looks great, drives great and I absolutely love the thought put into the interior storage and user-friendly tech features.
