The car I hope to love

After owning a reliable GMC terrain for 13 years which was the family car we made a lot of memories in traveling along the east coast states , my husband and I did a lot of research before deciding on the Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. Initially the interior and exterior captured my attention for being stylish, and the design I wanted with captain chairs in the middle row. The price tag was unbelievable and so my husband did a deep dive on all the specs of the car. We decided a 2023 would be the right car and felt very happy when the car boosted all of it warranties. However 3 months and not even 3000 miles in, the car had ignition problems for which the car dealership’ service department gave me a lot of trouble to finally cover under warranty. The fact that a new car had ignition problems made me weary of my decision of purchasing this car. The ignition light has since turned on once in 10000 miles and I hope it’s a glitch. So I want to love this car but I cannot lie I am a bit weary of taking my car on family trips . I want to be proven wrong and the car safely perform during long road trips . I also had seatbelt recalls which were changed but the dealership did give me a bit of run around before changing seatbelts under warranty.

Luxury car without the luxury price

An outstanding vehicle!

We absolutely loved that car and had considered purchasing after our lease ran out. After careful consideration, we decided it made financial sense to get out of the lease and devote that money to a 2026 Palisade purchased at your dealership. Again, we loved the 2023, but love the new one even more!

Shock system

Poor rear shock system. Rattled around back there after 30,000 miles and finally they replaced them under warranty at about 55,000. Same issue with my 2020 Palisade. Either poor design or cheap parts even though on the Caligraphy. Who knows how long they will last.

Great 7 passenger suv

This is a wonderful option for a seven seater SUV. It has all the bells and whistles. It is convenient super nice interior and the car just kept getting better. I upgraded to the 2026 and we are so happy. The only difference is I got a hybrid this time and it’s pretty good on gas

Very good vehicle with one flaw

The vehicle is great in comfort and reasonably good performance. I wish the side mirrors were auto foldable and the app commands took effect instantaneously like a Tesla.

Love my car

Only issues I have with my Palisade is that sometimes the auto sensor on the windshield wipers does not work when it should and does work when it shouldn't. Also, the doors unlock automatically when I park my car which to me could be a safety issue for both of these.

Great car, terrible customer service - not fulfilling its own warranty

Bought certified pre-owned. Paint issues appeared later on. Dealership refused to handle. Had to get Hyundai corporate involved and they confirmed original warranty (3 years or 36,000 miles) is still valid. Dealership continues to be evasive and de-facto refusing taking care of it ("We have no appointments, you'd have to leave the car here but it will takes several months until you can get it back"). Great car, the worst customer service.
