Nice Vehicle, But serveral technical flaws that are disappointing

This is my third Palisade, and unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with several changes and performance issues with this vehicle. The Lane Following Assist (LFA) and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) are horrible compared with my previous two Palisades. My first two Palisades tracked the center of the lane exceptionally well—almost to the point of feeling like a self-driving vehicle. This Palisade does not. It regularly drifts toward or across the centerline and fog line, requiring constant driver correction. In my opinion, this is not simply an inconvenience; it is a serious safety concern. I am also very disappointed that Hyundai removed the ability to control all of the passenger seats from the front. That was an extremely useful feature, and eliminating it feels like a significant step backward in a vehicle of this class. Finally, the second-row seats do not return to their normal seating position after being moved forward to provide access to the third row. They must be manually repositioned afterward, which is inconvenient and poorly designed. Having owned three Palisades, I have a very good basis for comparing the vehicles. I purchased another Palisade because of how impressed I was with my first two. Unfortunately, these changes—particularly the poor LFA/LKA lane tracking—have made my newest Palisade a significant disappointment.

Just completed a major trip in the hybrid and found it to be a great ride with mileage over 31 mpg. With gas prices as high as they are right now that saving is why we bought a hybrid.

Best vehicle ever

My wife and I absolutely love this vehicle. It has a lot of luxury features which we both enjoy not to mention all of the great safety features that it has that a lot of high-end luxury vehicles don’t even offer. Pricing and safety vehicles are the best.

My 2026 Palisade Calligraphy Hybrid is amazing. I enjoy the comfort and power this SUV has. The gas mileage is incredible and I like the Bose surround sound, as well as the different terrain modes. I highly recommend this luxurious SUV.

Fantastic

We purchased a 2025 Tuscon Hybrid and it has been a terrific automobile. We enjoyed the Tuscon so much that we purchased a 2026 Palisade Hybrid. I like it even better. It was many safety features, good gas mileage and a very comfortable ride, even on our Illinois roads.

A few irritants, but so far an excellent vehicle.

The engineers got a few things wrong that are just irritants. Not being able to lock the door from the door button before you get out - extremely irritating. Having the seat retract so you can get in, but not retract when you open the door - crappy engineering; the seat has to move twice as much as it would have to otherwise. Having to reach to the farthest button from the driver's seat to activate the camera - obscenely confusing. The ride is nice - eco mode is a little too sluggish on hills until you step on it, but very smooth. Seat adjustments are uber confusing and I thought I would like the thigh rest but it is very uncomfortable unless you are taking a nap in the parked vehicle. Hopefully some software updates will fix the nuisances so that it will become an awesome vehicle.
