Great car but increased price & less features than last year's model.

I leased a 2026 Hyundai Kona. 2026 Kona is a great car, however Hyundai raised the price several thousand dollars & then eliminated several features, i.e.: no more arm rest with cup holders in the rear seat; no more driver's left foot rest, only carpet. This feature, though seemingly small, will lead to increased wear on the carpet, this is a concerned with a leased Kona; after 2-3 years in winter weather, that small 8"x10" piece of carpet with get a lot of wear. Too bad Hyundai eliminated such a small & critical feature. Another issue is that the vehicle's rear door hatch latch on the new Kona doesn't work properly. When all the doors & windows are closed, the rear door hatch won't close due to too much pressure in the car cabin. The only fix for this is to take the Kona to the dealership where they will basically use a hammer to re-position the U-latch; once they fix this feature, the rear door hatch works as it should. Nothing more insulting to a long-time, loyal Hyundai customer, to get a new model vehicle that costs more & with fewer features; that should be the other way around.

2026 Kona Limited is Even Bigger and Better with Beautiful New Colors

My new 2026 Kona Limited is bigger and way more details than my 2023 Kona but with the same great ride and dependability. The new green color is beautiful. It's the one being pictured in the ads. The added features have to be experienced.

Would be better if I was actually driving it.

Owned the vehicle for two months before the transmission went out on it. It’s currently been parked at the dealership since April. If you love paying a car payment for a vehicle you aren’t driving. Definitely pick this one.

It doesn’t feel safe, comfortable, or solid while driving.

It’s not good in handling, it slides easily, and it’s easy to lose control of the vehicle during sudden maneuvers. The ride is not very comfortable, it’s easy to lose control in curves, and it doesn’t feel safe or solid while driving.

my new Kona

after driving a large SUV for 13 years I was looking to go much smaller as all my kids are grown. I wanted something that would still keep me higher in the seat than a sedan and had some storage. The Kona delivers with plenty of adjustable storage space for multiple suitcases or dog crates and still rides very comfortable even in the back seat as all my family members are quite tall. Unlike a sedan, I am sitting higher, providing proper visuals for driving and I don't feel like I'm "sitting on the road"-- add in the sporty look and the tremendous gas mileage, the Kona has met all my needs and I am quite pleased

Amazing car for the money. Fun to drive! This car exceeded my expectations by far the color is beautiful and the interior is very nice. Does very well on rugged terrain has a wonderful suspension smooth gliding over rocky terrain. Will definitely recommend to anyone that's in the market for a new car i promise u will love it ❤️

Overall veryb impresed with this vehicle. They nincluded a lopt of modern tech in a price friendly vehicle. The engine power is a bit lacking but everything considered we are quite happy with the purchase.

Overall good, but missing power tilt mirrors to tilt-in to confirm when the vehicle is locked. I have this feature on 2025 Hyundai Tucson, but NOT on my Kona.
