Smooth handling... small suv

I enjoy driving my kona because of its easy handling, smooth ride and comfortable seating... it’s a little small for traveling but gets excellent mileage ( 28-30!) So far it’s been maintenance free. The Apple carplay and features have been easy to learn. It’s a sporty choice for a smaller SUV. All wheel drive is a bonus!

Prior to purchasing I had done a lot of research on vehicles. I wanted to keep the price just under 20k but still get a good car. I achieved this with the purchase of my Kona.The styling is sporty and the interior very functional. The warranty is exceptional.

The perfect car

I purchased a Kona, but did not test drive the one that I ultimately purchased. When I had troubles with vehicle, I was told to give it more time because it was a "known issue". Make sure to test drive your car first.

Overall Satisfied

Overall like this car. I am a member of the Hyundai family. My biggest complaint is that this model does not have the option for remote start and unlike with my last lease, I didn’t get complimentary service for the duration of my lease.

Noisy in highway, no folding mirrors, no memory seats and no front camera for parking . Kind of disappointing but as a third car it’s ok. Low fuel consumption, size of the car is good, good styling, small car and the response in the snow is really good with the AWD

Good looks in a great package for a good price

Try to find another vehicle out there that can compete with this for the money. The automatic transmission is so much better that the CVT transmissions on the competition. the AWD has great road manners.

Great Crossover

I really like my 2020 Kona Ultimate AWD! The 1.6 turbo engine has plenty of pep, gets great gas mileage, and it’s fun to drive. The Kona offers lots of standard convenience and safety features, as well as a variety of available options across the different trim levels.

2020 Hyundai Kona Ultimate Exceeds Expectations

I had a 2018 Hyundai Ioniq Limited which I loved for its fuel efficiency, safety, overall comfort and ride. A broken leg and hip replacement demanded I find a car easier to get into. the 2020 Hyundai Kona Ultimate exceeded all my expectations. It was so much easier to get into and shorter wheel base fit easier into my garage. The actual fuel efficiency is much better than the expected 30 mpg. I have averaged a minimum of 35 mpg per tank and have sometimes gotten as high as 39. I had looked at the 2018 Kona before my Ioniq purchase but was not happy with the 24 mpg then. This vehicle has been improved and the test drive sold me on the Kona. If you are looking for a sub SUV perhaps downsizing from a 2004 Honda CRV with 238,000 miles like I did before my Ioniq, this is the car to get. You should not be disappointed.

Great Compact SUV

We are very please with our purchase of the Kona. We wanted a small AWD vehicle for mostly city driving. The features are plenty and easy to use. The car handles well and performance is good. Seating is comfortable for average sized adults. Storage is adequate and rear cargo area is good for everyday use.

Great addition for future models

Add a front view collision warning icon --- like the rear collision warning icon --- would be excellent to help parking in tight spots and help stop damage to the under carriage when hitting concrete car stop when driving into (front end) parking spot

Ilove my 2020 Kona. It is the perfect size. I wanted something a little smaller than a midsized suv.I like the way it handles . It has great leg room, I am tall and this works great for me . easy laydown seats .

Great vehicle

I bought this car brand new. It handles well and gets great gas mileage! I average 26 to 29 mpg. My last vehicle only got about 20 mpg. This is a smaller vehicle with a smaller gas tank but, it is well worth it. The only thing I would change is I would have purchased a Kona with all power. This one does not have power seats or the blue star or whatever it's called. Overall though, it's a great little suv with awd.

The Hyundai Kona Ultimate is a great vehicle. It has a smooth and comfortable ride, and easy to maneuver. The heated seats have been a plus for me. The sound system and all the trim package features are excellent. I get compliments and questions daily.

Nice little car

We bought a nice little car. We felt that we needed a small SUV for getting back and forth to work in all weather conditions. Hyundai's warranty is legendary. We are impressed with the overall functionality and fuel economy of the Kona . The only problem has been the incomplete roof rack assembly which makes the roof rails absolutely worthless. They should be included with every vehicle equipped with the roof rails. Now in order to use your small SUV with the roof rails, you have to purchase from the hyundai dealer the cross bars for an additional $700....Ridiculous in our opinion.
