Reliability of the Hyundai Brand

I. Have owned several Hyundai models and have never been disappointed in the performance of each. The reliability and the overall performance meet my standard of driving. I will stick with the brand on future lease or purchase.

Great little suv but

I love this little suv,its fun to drive,its got great get up and go,its has wonderful style in side and out and the inside has great detail in design.Love the color. Would of given it a 5 but I've had issues with the radio losing sound that means your phone hook up is effected also which is a major pain, I've had my kona for a year almost and 3 new radios they start to act up about 3 months ,everything is working get you shut the car off and when you start it up again nothing,resetting it does nothing .Sometimes it will work again after it sits over bite and it will work again just fine and then out of the blue it happens again and doesn't come back on.thats why I've had it replaced 3 times, my dealership is extremely supportive but I wish the manufacturer would fix this issue .if they did it would be a exceptional suv.i would still buy another in a heart beat .

Love my Kona

I have had my Kona for 18 months now and I only have good things to say about it. It drives and handles great. I love the safety features, including the heads up display, which shows the speed limit and my current speed, as well as if other cars are on either side of me. I absolutely LOVE the automatic windshield wipers and the auto dimming and brightening of my headlights. I average 33-35 mpg so I’m happy with that as well as the car having plenty of pickup when needed. I’ve been a loyal Honda owner for 25 years but now I only plan to buy Hyundai’s in the future. This is truly my favorite car I’ve ever had!

Kona. Ultimate poor sound ride and bad tpms

Good car but has number of draw backs passange seat very uncomfortable no adjustment and that is for the high end ultimate. edition. Sound system does not even notice subwoofer. Brakes mushy and dual clutch is very frustrating

I had a good experience

I like the car over all. Easy to drive and has an amazing fuel economy. The car is not a sports car so I understand it takes a littler to reach higher speed. The sound system is good. I have had a little bit of trouble connecting my wireless devices.

Great Vehicle

This car is zippy, peppy and cool! Performs like a champ and handles like a race car, one hell of a value! Dollar for dollar and pound for pound it takes value to a whole new level and doesn’t sacrifice quality to get there.

Wonderful but no spare tire

This vehicle is a wonderful small SUV. It come with safety features. Power steering. Cruise control and much more. The trunk space is small but it’s an SUV? I like everything about this vehicle except there’s no spare tire. Check the Hyundai website and read more about the Kona

Kona to the Bone-a

My Kona is great. Hyundai always has issues, but I LOVE the red lighting in the car and underneath. I strongly hope you consider this company because they are amazing and the effort is well worth the time.

Zippy Crossover

It is super on gas mileage! I have gotten 42 miles to the gallon on the highway. This is before my first oil change. Fun to drive! Love the style of this crossover . I find it fast enough for me and I don’t have the turbo. The Sport Mode is so much fun. Great tires on this car. I got garbage on my Mazda 2008 CX turbo which was $15,000 more than this car. This is a great car for the money.

Average car nothing special

The vehicle handles well , good pickup , but a noisy not real comfortable ride. Pretty Spartan in luxury. Not very impressive gas mileage, priced a bit high for features and ride. For these reasons the unreliability of my previous Santa Fe’s this will be my last Hyundai.

Issue with remote start Mileage ok Ride smooth but loud. Driving with windows down can not do. To much pressure too much noise to allow for comfort ride Headlights could be better although when new seamed brighter

Needs a new engine at only 13,000 miles

Our engine started making a variety of strange noises. We have owned it for only a year and it's only at 13,000 miles. We took it to a dealership and they told us it needs a whole new engine. They made it sound like this is pretty common with Hyundai's. Anything else we liked about the car is pretty irrelevant now. We were enjoying all the bells and whistles before this happened, but who cares now?

Car idles rough.

Car idles rough when ac on high, or high loads like radiator fan on. Embarrassing to have passengers in new car. Dealer agrees car is rough but can not seem to fix. AC compressor was replaced with no change. If AC is turned off idle is smooth. In sport mode the higher idle speed helps.

Love my car

My first brand new vehicle I bought all on my own❤️ It was during the pandemic so I did everything on my phone and they delivered it to me that evening and that was 1 year ago this month and I still love it.

We like this in many ways but it has room limitations and a great deal of cheaper finishes were used. The performance for a 4 cylinder car is good and the assistive devices onboard are very helpful in daily driving.

Great little car

I have had my Kona for over two years without any issues. It performs well in traffic as well as out on the open road. I live in the mountains and it handles the snow with ease. It’s a great little car that’s fun to drive.

Love My Kona

Best car I ever owned. Has an eye catching sporty look. The gas mileage is phenomenal. It is super reliable...a complete departure from all the problems I had with my Volkswagen. The safety features are great and make driving easy. I got a great deal on a great car with standard features that would cost a fortune on any comparable model from another manufacturer.

Reliable and efficient.

My Kona is my third Hyundai car and I love it. I've never had an issue and I know I can count on my car for performance and reliability in any type of weather. It has quick pick up when needed and easy maneuverability. It is on the smaller side but handles well at any speed.

2020 Kona recall

We are extremely happy with our 2020 Kona right up to and even after receiving the recall notice. Any disappointment comes from the resolution of the engine proble. I think they were slow in rectifying the issues.

2020 Kona Ultimate

This is a great little subcompact SUV. the seating front and back is surprisingly roomy, but that cargo space does suffers. Features are best you can get for value and the warranty. So far I am happy with my purchase.
