Love my Kona

I was first drawn to Hyundai because I love Hyundai, I had driven 2 other Hyundais prior to purchasing my Kona. When it was time to replace my Elantra, I wanted something a little easier to see out of, a little more of a square look, so I was immediately in love with the look of the Kona. After test driving, I was hooked....it was so easy to see everything around me, it was easy to drive, it handled awesomely and it was adorable! I have been driving my Kona for a year now and have ZERO complaints! Still feel like we (my Kona and I) are in our honeymoon phase! haha! :)

Love my Kona

Great vehicle for the price. Very stylish exterior and comfortable interior. Great gas mileage. Menu options give lots of information. Had no trouble getting around during the winter months. Love the safety features.

A good value

Features are well thought out and easy to use. Drives great and decent fuel mileage. All wheel drive works well. Very few complaints and I would highly recommend. Get the white one. It looks best. SUV.

Love my Kona

I have had my Kona for a year and have been extremely happy with it. We have taken it on two road trips and all 4 of us were very comfortable. For the size of the car the storage is good. I enjoy all the little luxuries that were affordable in the Kona. Very happy with my experience and at this point would happily buy another Hyundai.

Kona

The Kona is fun to drive and is very fuel economical. It's wide wheel base makes it easy to maneuver. Pick up could be improved along with media interface. an intergrated gps would be ideal. Noise abatement needs improvement along with heating and air system (an automatic setting) would improve easy of driving and allow drivers to stay focuse on driving instead of fiddling with dials and knobs.

Kona

The ride is smooth and it's a fun car to drive. The features are plentiful and easy to use. The interior is roomy and display is easy to reach. But I find the console between front seats to small and too far back.

ANNOYING: Inexplicable false alarms, 20 times in past 9 months

TITLE: Annoying inexplicable false alarms (20 times in past 9 months) Something very odd about alarms in this car. Either a design flaw or a failure in the electronics of the Kona I own. BACKGROUND As expected, when I park at home (having shut off the engine) if I open the drivers door and if any of the below faults ** exist, then an alarm will sound. AND THAT IS EXACTLY AS I SHOULD BE. *(into Park, turning off the headlights, having the trunk door and the other 3 doors closed) PROBLEM: But a couple times a month on an average, I've parked the car, done all the right things (in Park, Headlites off, other 3 doors and rear hatch closed), still, I get an alarm when I open the drivers door. Only way to solve it is to: close my door, restart the car and turn it off again. Then I can open the door w/o an alarm sounding. Fun To Drive

I love, love, LOVE my 2020 KONA! I love the appearance, features, and workability this vehicle has to offer. The instrumentation is well lit and easy to navigate. Other features like Blue Link allow for remote start and enhanced navigation.

Great car and value

Happy after the first year. Great fuel economy. Buy the highest trim level you can and get the turbo engine and you will not be disappointed looked at many duo cars in the size and price range and the Kona is hard to beat for overall value and included safety features

Really Like My Kona

The Kona is a cute, kinda sporty little car. Not too big. Comfortable interior with a lot of features you would find in pricier vehicles. Cargo area surprisingly roomy. Exterior styling really eye catching. Love the color (surf blue).

Fun and frugal

Most fun vehicle I've had since my HONDA CRX. I have the 1.6t AWD. I consistently get 30+mpg. It's been great in the snow. You just have to use common sense. It does have weak points. Road noise is quite noticeable and interior plastics are easily marked up. The biggest to me is the DCT transmission. It tends to give overheat warnings in stop and go traffic. You have to adjust your driving style. It needs to be driven a lot like a standard trans. Make this adjustment and you will be rewarded with very good performance.

Great care! Fun to drive!

I love my 2020 Hyundai Kona. It drives beautifully, and is really fun to drive. The car is roomy and comfortable. iThe safety features are excellent, as are the safety ratings. The sound system is great.

Overall this vehicle needs some serious improvements. Its a car not in love with it .............. I was happier with the Santa fe wondering if I can make a trade ? I would like something with more storage area in the back.

Love

Love this car and all the features. My family and friends love my car too. It’s great and I’m super happy with my decision. I leased the 2020 model but will probably buy the 2023 model. Wish the trunk space was bigger.

AWESOME CAR

The Kona is between and Suv and a Hatchback. Handles very well in the snow/rain and dry ground. The Kona is a all one Suv that isnt too big but not too small Best Comparison reference i can do is the Baby Shark, This Kona is a Baby Suv. It is perfect for a single person or even a couple with no children or small children under the teenage years. Perfect for everyday running around. OMS, The Hud is awesome to use and has help me greatly. This is a must own Suv for those looking for one but dont a huge Suv.

Very good commuter car

My wife and I were looking to upgrade her primary commuting vehicle from a 2008 Honda Fit. We found this car and the other reviews seemed positive. All-wheel drive and we still average high 20-low 30's MPG. It's small than I like to drive and the cargo space is limited. But for 90% of the driving we do it's the perfect vehicle to get back and forth to work. It handles and accelerates way better than any other small crossover we tested. For the money it's probably the best option around.

2020 Hyundai Kona

For a small SUV, this car is nice. A bit small in the cargo capacity, but comfortable and fun to drive. Great visibility, back up camera and safety features. The all wheel drive was very capable of getting through unplowed snow, and I had no skidding. Would try another Kona when my lease is up, or possible move up to the Tuscon.

Love my Kona. It’s as roomy as my Sonata but doesn’t feel so low slung. Easy to enter/exit. Love the back seats lay flat. It’s perfect. Gas mileage in city is pretty good. It’s quiet, minimal road noise. Very responsive.
