It was great experience

This EV feels incredibly compact and firmly built, with a reassuring sense of control. The body structure feels dense and stable, and the steering responds sharply — everything about it feels tight, confident, and premium.

Never Reaches Charging Speed and No Space

I was promised a charging speed of 100 KWH that was advertised and after two charges the fastest it ever goes is 75KWH for almost 20 minutes and then dives off a cliff to slowness.

Great little car

My wife and I decided to downsize our cars and bought the Kona EV to make life easier - no gas station visits! We charge with a lever 2 system in our garage overnight when rates are very inexpensive. It's fun to drive and we've taken quite a few road trips. The Nav and infotainment systems are easy to use and update as needed. The safety features like lane keeping and alerts are a definite upgrade from our old car. Seating is comfortable in the front and adequate in the rear, though tight. The ride and handling are very good, and the cabin is quiet. Visibility is good. Overall, a very well-designed vehicle.

The vehicle was nice to own at first. It saved me on fuel costs. What would cost me $45 in gas was only costing me $18 in electric. Only issue was when going down a hill with a sharp turn the brakes on the inner side of the turn would lock up and skid a little. Other wise it was a great vehicle. The only reason I turned it in was In PA the cost of registration was crazy. I was being punished for not buying gas and contributing to PA road taxes. Plus the insurance was out the roof compared to a non EV vehicle. So all in all I was not saving as much as It was even 2 years ago.

no value and was offered only 17775 when i gave 35000 a year ago

excellent car but it does hold value to purchase another i should of been offered more since i went back to same dealership

Two Year Review

The rating would have been higher if two items in particular had been available. For shorter drivers the power seat does not allow the driver's seat to rise to a high enough level to provide good visibility. With all the "comfort" features, an important item would have been a rear hatch release from inside the vehicle. And, automatic high/low beam adjustments would have been a more desirable feature than some others provided.

Love this car !

This is a great vehicle, however, I would not recommend it for someone who commutes a lot. I’m lucky I work locally & drive short distances so I never run into big issues. Ev infrastructure is not up to where I thought it would be in 2025, but alas, finding a car charger isn’t as convenient as I was expecting. The vehicle is great- super comfortable & has a lot of amazing safety features that I appreciate. The apple pay is great for someone like me who always needs to be listening to music or looking at directions. It’s a great size, spacious with out being too large, & fits enough for people, groceries, or luggage.

Reliable and nice ride

other than a couple of minor issues my car is a great drive and the battery lasts well. I love the size and honestly can’t think of much I would change about the car.
