Spectacular gas mileage

Better gas mileage than sticker indicates for city driving. Exactly as advertised for highway driving. So quiet, must see on dashboard if it is running. Only complaint is lack of built in garage door opener in my model.

Best vehicle yet!

I've been driving hybrids since 2007. The first two were Honda Civics, the second two were Toyota Prius'. This car surpasses them all! I researched the best hybrid for my budget and the Ioniq won hands down. The MPG was far superior to both the Honda and Toyotas, coming in at 57/59 depending on how and where your driving. I bought the basic "Blue" model and it offers more features than I am even interested in using. My favorite features are the lane assist, Bluetooth and the option for use of the driver side air only. There is considerably more room in the cabin than in the Honda and Toyota. Finally, the car feels solid, safe and sound compared to my former cars. This car meets every need and expectation I have for a personal vehicle!

I love this car!!

It is lame that there is no spare tire, but they have to upsell you somehow. Anyway....the car is everything you could expect in a luxury version of a HYBRID car. Buy one of these before you buy a Prius.

THIS CAR IS GREAT

I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE CAR WAS STILL RUNNING THE FIRST TIME I DROVE IT. SO QUIET, I stopped at a red light and decided not to restart the car just push on the pedal and hope it moved. GUESS WHAT, it did we just continued on down the road. That to me was the most outstanding feature plus the design roomy front seat area and the dashboard and fine display.

Great Hybrid Vehicle!

Great styling. Great gas mileage. Runs smooth with surprising power. Lots of room inside. Maneuvers well. Nice colors available. We have owned a lot of cars over the years, but Hyundai is one of the most reliable and reasonable service fees when needed.

Ioniq Bliss

Bought the car as an economical commuter car. I have a lengthy 130 mile round trip to work 5 days a week, and a car that gets great MPG was needed. I have been averaging 55mpg over the first 3000 miles so far. No issues with car, have the Blue or base model Ionig. Linked my phone via bluetooth and google/android play for apps like navigation and works great. Was out the door with a maint plan to 70,000 miles for under $20k. Looked at Prius and Insight, but neither can beat the mpg of the Ioniq, and saving thousands on the purchase price over the Prius and Insight was awesome. Comes pretty well equipped for a base model, lane assist and other tech stuff. For its intended purpose as a commuter car it is an outstanding value.

Not Like Older Version, but Still Good

I was excited to get this car, especially since I had an older model before and loved it. I was let down when I was not getting the average fuel economy. I am averaging about 47-48mpg over the last two months. I still love driving this car.

Great experience with vehicle

2020 vehicle review for the Ioniq

The car is great. However you will only average about 43 city 51 hwy. I would love an inside hatchback release button. Otherwise, a great car. I was happy with my salesman who helped me with my purchase. His name was Karl.

Fun, Sporty, Economical, Stylish

I must say that the Ioniq has many features that I like. Performance , economy and handling are awesome. I wanted to replace my 2014 Sonata Hybrid LTD with equal or better features such as all electric. The Kona EV stood out but price was exceedingly high

Great Vehicle

I did much research on this vehicle and it has exceeded expectations, My only issue is with the tire repair kit. It is relatively useless. I wished I knew when I bought it that I could have added a spare.

Very nice vehicle with great fuel mileage.

Love the fact that I only get gas about every ten days. For a hybrid it gets up and goes. It’s stylish and very comfortable. I love all the little bells and whistles included. For a small vehicle it has a lot of room in the trunk.

Wonderful car

We enjoy our new Ioniq. It feels like a solid vehicle. It gets great mileage, better than our previous hybrid. We like the style, inside and out. It's a great car. It's fun to drive--not to big but not too small.

Great vehicle

Love this car and the mileage we get from it. Between Southern Utah and Las Vegas, NV, we averaged over 70 mpg, coming back mpg dropped to about 60 but it’s all uphill to 6,000 ft. and that is fantastic because there were four adults, one child, steep hills/mountains, and A/C going. Instruments are easy to read and technology is great. The Ioniq rides smooth and quiet especially when the engine isn’t running but even when it is the decibel level only rises a few places. The hatchback is huge and passenger seating is roomy and comfortable. We couldn’t fit a car seat and two adults in the back seat of our 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, but had no trouble with the Hyundai. Besides mileage it’s just a great all around car, and you would not be disappointed.

Love having a hybrid

This is my first hybrid. Getting used to small size. But loving the mileage. The styling is great. Good use of small space. The engine is jumpy when it kicks on, not sure if that is normal or not.

Ioniq Blue - Impression

After driving a vehicle for 4 months I already get enough information regarding the full consumption which is the main reason why I bought it. In specification is written that average is 55MPG. On every vehicle is hard to achieve specified consumption; but not with this one. I start as 50-52 MPG for first months but since I drive it mostly on highway I reach already 57MPG which is unbelievable. In city its mostly running on battery which will keep consumption very low and highway can show you best results for sure. In the same time you will actually fill battery and have good consumption and you will have enough power to drive >70-75 with no issue with 2,400 rpn which keep it quiet enough. Transmision is one of the best which i feel (or almost not actually). Overall great impression with design and equipment in basic variant for very small price in this range of car. All recommendation for all which want to try to move on hybrid and get some saving.

Two weeks in and happy so far

I bought this car for one reason, because of the great MPG rating, and it hasn't disappointed. I actually had one trip of 50 miles and I averaged over 66 MPG. This sentence is just to get to the 250 character count so don't pay any attention to it...
