BEST Compact EUV ever. This compact SUV does it all! Drives&Parks!

This Compact SUV does it all. Everything is at your finger tips and with voice recognition you can ask Hyundai to turn on the defroster and move it to high, etc. Thus your hands are on the wheel and your eyes are on the road. BEST new feature is the camera replacing the rear-view mirror. This should be standard on all vehicles period. My wife and I never ever need to adjust it, the view is 6 lanes each direction wide, you can see everything and more day and night! Simply the best. The Ioniq5Limited is fully loaded with more than most luxury than most in the Luxury class!

Excellent Daily driver

This car is practical spacious and smooth over all. Handles corners very good and accelerates fast with a fantastic grip. Very much fun to drive.

Second Ionic 5

The car is great overall. Better suspension than a Tesla in terms of comfort. Software is a bit convoluted. For example, it constantly resets my volume settings for red light camera warnings and it’s hard to find where it’s nested in the system. Rear gate holds too much water when going to the car wash and takes way too much time to get the water out of it. Needs to get redesigned. Brakes seem to be a little less substantial than the last ionic five; maybe the car is heavier because of the larger battery, but it has the same size brakes.

Best car ever

I’ve been driving for over 50 years, so have owned numerous vehicles - in addition to the vehicles owned by my husband, which I’ve driven. This is my favorite. It is quiet and smooth, it handles beautifully, I can go farther on a charge than I would have thought possible for an EV, and it actually has more power than the two sports cars my husband previously owned. While my main criteria was making an environmentally safe purchase, I sacrificed nothing in doing so, and gained more than I anticipated.

Very happy with our choice!

Zippy, comfortable, full-featured, and a pleasure to drive. Did a lot of comparison shopping, and found the Ioniq 5 to be the best value for money out there.

Nothing that stands out

After owning the Ioniq 5 for a while, I have to say it hasn’t really impressed me. Nothing about the car particularly stands out — it feels pretty average overall. For the price and all the hype, I expected more refinement and attention to detail. Some basic features are surprisingly missing. There’s no USB-A slot, which makes connecting older devices inconvenient, and it doesn’t have a step-away auto-lock feature — something that’s standard on many modern cars now. On top of that, the brakes have been squeaky right from the start, which doesn’t inspire much confidence in the build quality. Overall, it’s not a bad car, but for me, it just feels underwhelming and incomplete.

So far we are really liking our Ioniq 5. We've taken a couple longer trips, and although it takes a little planning for charging, it worked out just fine. Fast charging is not that hard.

Love my I5

Very nice car. Went from a 2013 Tesla Model S. Obviously 12 years of newer tech. This car is well done. The vision feature that attempts to warn me of my lane awareness has a lot to be desired. It is very often warning me falsely. The other thing I absolutely HATE are the Bluelink notifications. That SUCK. They Lie. They're stupid. So I just turned it off. = (
