My 2016 Equus is a fantastic care except for three areas.
This is my second Equus; I owned a 2012 which I traded in to purchase my 2016 new. There are three areas that are frustrating and disappointing in how the car is engineered. First, the turning radius is very very poor, especially when compared with the BMW 7 Series of which I owned three models. The Equus requires three point turning as the turning radius is more like a 1978 Cadillac than a modern car. Second, also unlike the BMW, when shifting into reverse, either both outside rear view mirrors tilt down or both remain fixed. In the BMW shifting into reverse causes ONLY the passenger outside rear view mirror to rotate down to see the curb. Having both outside mirror tilt down is not only dumb, but it is unsafe as it prevents the driver from seeing the oncoming traffic from the driver's side while in reverse. Third, there is no service indicator or calendar in the instrument cluster. Service is calculated using mileage only which is stone age. A calendar would be nice, not of major importance but it would be nice.
