An amazing car for the value

It's not a Toyota(sorry), but it's the next best thing, and I'd say in many ways it's better. I am absolutely blown away by what Hyundai has done with their styling, as well as combining that with the overall usability of the vehicle. Against its competitors, the Elantra N makes more sense, not only for it's value, but what it offers as a daily driver. Not only am I happy not to be spending close to $50,000, but the car also does both sport driving as well as daily commuter/taking a road trip combined better than what I would find with any other brand. I'm only recently(as of 2021) a fan of Hyundai. I wouldn't call myself a brand loyalist, however after owning a 2021 Hyundai Elantra SEL as well as now my 2025 Elantra N, I very much feel that Hyundai is the leader right now in the car industry with what's being done. I'd also like to note, user serviceability. I think Hyundai is doing better than most(if not all) brands here, which will keep me purchasing their cars, knowing I can work on my own car once my warranty/service expires. Lastly, I marked repeatability as an 8 since I haven't had the car for many miles yet. I had my previous SEL for 72,000 miles and only experienced an odd issue with the engine thermostat. However the drive train looks very well put together, and I've seen great success with other Hyundai models throughout the years, so I suspect I should be fine with my current car for quite some time. Please keep this stride Hyundai, as this is what I think people really want. Almost all other reviews I've seen for this car from various sources are overwhelmingly positive.

Very happy with my Elantra!

This is my 8th Hyundai since the 80's, and 6th Elantra. I've yet to have a single mechanical issue with any of them. I've also been fortunate to get great gas mileage, have had excellent dealers and great service staff. If I live long enough to need or want another car in the future, you can pretty safely bet it will be another Hyundai!

Great on Blind Spot Warning

Great Vehicle for affordable price. The Vehicle has very good safety features like Blind Spot Warning and Lane Assist Features. The exterior of the vehicle is greatly designed and looks good. However, having support for BlueLink and Vehicle setup options would be very helpful and more robust.

I love this car!

Love the car, wish id gotten a different color. We have been driving back and forth for both work and school and everything works so well compared to the old v8 truck I have been driving before I got the car. Work has been better and more reliable to get to and from school

Not sure about little things in the car.

Don’t like no cup holder in the back seat. Have to put the hole back seat down instead of half for extra room space for the trunk not good. Also the bottle holders in the doors or just hard to get it in and out.

Safest Car Around

My '22 Hev Elentra was totaled in a head on collision. Walked way with a few scrapes only. Didn't even go to the hospital. Car safed my life. Won't buy anything else for a while. Got the '25 Hev with everything I wanted and wouldn't change it for the world.

Great Value on a Very Good Car

This review is on my 2025 Elantra Sport. This car drives smooth, and has plenty of acceleration for a normally aspirated 2.0 with CVT. I was looking for a new car, and did not want a 1.5L Turbo like most other manufacturers are doing. Those engines are wound too tight and require too much boost for every day driving, so the reliability is not going to be as good as a normally aspirated engine. I have had Hyundai's since 2000, and have always been impressed with the build quality and performance for the money. Also, the 10 Year/100k warranty is what I was really looking for as we plan to keep this car for a while. There are a few things that keep it from being five stars, but it is an easy 4.5. I will list those things in the Pros and Cons sections below.

Wish it had all the features of my 2024 Elantra

So I bought this car due to my Hyundai 2024 SEL being totaled in an unfortunate accident. At first I liked it, but did not have enough time to truly do research into this car since I needed a car fast. As the months went by I realized my favorite features were missing, most importantly the blue link which arguably saved my life when I had my wreck. I also had to get seat warmers put into the car for my comfort. I work night shift as a nurse and those seat warmers often soothed my back after a hard night of work. Additionally, walking out in the dead of winter to wait on my car to defrost and heat up is not pleasant at all. Finally, where in the world are the back seat cupholders. Yes, the door bottle holders are present, but those cannot hold drinks from restaurants should I have additional riders. I hope with the 2026 model, they bring these features back as it what made me fall in love with the Elantra in the first place.

So far so good I am very happy with the way it handles the way.

I only have a little over 2600 miles on my car so far. I am very happy with it. Love the performance and the way it handles still learning about all the features on the display panel, which is a very nice size I liked my vehicle

Transmission is seriously flawed.

The transmission starts to overheat and the clutch will slip in stop and go traffic. You can smell the clutch burning. I’m very concerned about this being a serious issue and regret buying the car. I would not buy this car again.

VERY GOOD VEHICLE, LACKING SOME AMMENITIES

THE ELANTRA HYBRID IS A VERY GOOD VEHICLE. EASY TO DRIVE, PARK, AND HANDLE IN TRAFFIC. EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD CONSISTANTLY. THE AUTOMATIC TRUNK IS VERY ANNOYING, STAND NEAR THE BACK OF THE CAR TOO LONG AND THE TRUNK POPS OPEN. SHOULD BE MORE OPTION CONTENT, IE, POWER SEATS, HEATED SEATS AND PERHAPS LEATHER AS AN OPTION. AN AUTOMATIC REAR VIEW MIRROR SHOULD BE STANDARD EQUIPMENT AS THE BACK WINDOW IS NOT FRIENDLY DURING NIGHT TIME DRIVING.

Great Car!!

It’s a great car, there’s just a few this I’ve noticed that don’t work properly or aren't programmed properly. Such as the wireless charger, the sensors have troubles often, car play takes some time to warm up. It’s overall an great car minus software issues

Excellent vehicle

Love this car. Runs great and gets amazing gas mileage. Very comfortable. Looks sporty from the outside. Very spacious on the inside, including a very large trunk. The only things I don’t like about this car is the weird bar in between the driver and front passenger seats as well as the weird circle to the left of the steering wheel that does nothing. Also the view isn’t great when trying to look behind you for backing up, but I’m sure that’s also hoping people will rely on the rear camera. When trying to clean my windshield the wipers do not fully lift up and stay up, they hit the front hood. I think that might be poor design function.

I get great vehicle responses from other people. I also get great millage. I love my cruise contrl and how it drives better on the highways then i do. I love my heated and cooled seats. I love that I don't have to unlocked my remote to open or lock my car.

Not so happy with Elantra

For the money that you pay, you can go for a better version of Toyota. This car has small trunk. Consumes a lot of fuel. Ac is poor it gets hottttt inside of the ceiling and you melt. The seats do not have even heater.

So far nice

I recently took it to the shop for a check up they only changed the oil and charge me for coolant. No other checks Tires Other oils And washer fluid My vehicle is new and under warranty No heated seats. No CD player 😞

Great Car, because its the 2024 Hyundai again

As a frequent purchaser of Hyundai Elantra's for all my cars, I can say I am familiar with many of their features. And as someone who debated between the 2024 and 2025 Hyundai, I can tell you. They are nearly the same car. So while the car is great, it loses points for not upgrading the car Especially when versions of the 2020 Elantra have features the 2025 is still lacking, like a self adjusting temperature regulation system (why is this still manual controls 5 years later?) Also, the car revs itself into 3rd gear while going down steep hills and doesn't go back down, even when off the hill, until the car comes to almost a complete stop. A weird quirk, not sure if other cars do this, but I hope it can be fixed.
