Fun!!!

I love this vehicle. The only issue I have is the blue N buttons on tb3 steering wheel not holding the programmed choices all the time (I have to continually reset them).

Best Bang-for-buck Performance car

The 2025 Hyundai Elantra N exceeds everything I can think of. Has the right amount of power, has the perfect looks, and is packed with all the personality to make people turn their heads, and make for a good track day. The aggressive look of the front bumper of the Elantra N makes people in front of you move out the way, and the variable active exhaust makes the car stand out both in city, and on track. The red lining with whichever color you choose makes the car stand out really well, along with the rear spoiler. The interior is not entirely roomy, which is 100% expected out of a compact performance car, and with the bucket seats, the car keeps you in you and your passenger in the seat very firmly. With Hyundai’s 10 year, 100,000 mile warranty, you will have absolutely zero concerns with anything going wrong with the car or being stranded. For $35,000, this is the best car for a performance enthusiast.

Great handling. Octane learning is a joke. Poor build quality

I am really mixed on this car. I have had a few issues and the biggest is octane learning... That is, without a doubt, the biggest gripe I have with this car. The handling is amazing and when the car does OL it has all the power I could ask for. But the constant resetting of the "N" mode buttons and OL being such an issue I just can't recommend this car to anyone. I truly regret not getting another Golf GTI... Oh and the horn died on me the other day as well as the lower skid plate coming apart on the highway. Just more reason I wish I bought the VW.

Affordable Performance and Fun

Always being careful of greedy dealerships, this vehicle is a true value for what you get, plus more. Certainly fast, and fun to drive. Even when forced to drive in slow speeds, vehicle in N mode, just to hear the rumble, pops, and snarls of the exhaust on every downshift of the 6 Sp. MT. Black is more difficult to keep shiny, but it's worth it, the color blends with the other black plastic parts making it look and sound like a blacked-out mean-spirited machine. Bucket seats up front are form fitting for me, a larger person should go sit it first. Plenty of room in the rear seats. Gas consumption? Well, I didn't buy this car to save gas, I bought it to have fun; and it gets hungry for that premium food. My biggest complaint is that Hyundai needs to get rid of the Octane Learning; come on, it's as simple as putting in a different ECU. An aftermarket Stage 1 ECU mod would probably correct this.

Very fun quick daily ride

I enjoy driving my car daily, the looks front to back are very appealing and the exhaust tone is nice, I would like an option to start the vehicle in sport or N mode.

2025 Elantra N Review

Overall the vehicle is very fun. I have enjoyed my time with the car so far and see myself holding onto it for quite a while. My biggest gripe with the car so far is the build quality. There are some small gaps throughout the frame, most notably on the trunk and hood. The spacing is inconsistent and it is very apparent in different areas of the car. Another small issue is the lack of a/c vents for the rear seats and no folding down arm rest. Not having wireless carplay/android auto is strange since other elantra models have it as well.

Joy in Driving

Ive been blown away by how fun it is to drive my manual transmission EN. It feels exciting and there is a cohesiveness to all the controls and responses that brings it together. Probably would not recommend for a family with kids still in carseats.

Octane learning

My biggest issue is octane learning. Can’t get it to octane learn and if so it completely unlearns after vehicle is shut off. 93 octane is recommended by manufacturer so that is the gas that should only go in there. No point in octane learning.

Fun, Creative exterior Design Needs interior Design Improvement

I thoroughly enjoy the exterior design and contours of the vehicle. However, the insight of the car needs improvement. Where I see room for improvement is in 3 areas. 1. The bolsters on the N seats that hug your leg are too tight. high and bulky. When trying to exit the vehicle, it is difficult even for my 5 foot 9 inch frame to which, I am not overweight so I can see how this can be a challenge for other average build consumers. Your competitors such as the Si or type R, have much better side bolster designs in the seats. I would like to suggest in the next generation creating a less aggressive bolster design. 2. The manual model NEEDS a sunroof. Your competitors offer sunroofs in their lower performance trims and a big downside of the car is not being able to open a sunroof on nice days. This needs to be planned in future generations of the car. 3. The "Oh crap" bar next to the shifter needs to be eliminated on future models and the two size cup holder design needs to be changed to one larger size design. It is hard to hold two coffee Thermus's in the car. Lastly, It would be nice to have vents in the rear compartment for airflow. The biggest issue I have on hot summer days is how long it takes the cabin to cool when the A/C is on. This is a absolute must have. Overall, I rate this car a 7 1/2 out of 10. Just some small changes need to be made to make it perfect!

Amazing to drive with some small build issues

The 2025 Hyundai Elantra N is a super fun, super fast, and super economical car. This is the first sports car I've had and I been very happy with my purchase. Some small build and quality of life issues keep this from being a 5 out of 5 though.

Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is OL

Great car. Looking forward to seeing how it fares long term as I will be putting over 20k miles a year on it with regular 1000+ mile trips. Sears take some getting used to for longer rides but that’s to be expected with sports buckets.

High performance, for a reasonable price. Great gas mileage. Comes with a manual transmission. Decent interior space.Interior materials could be better. Gas tank is too small. Can't get a sunroof with a manual transmission. Only comes with summer tires standard. No spare.
