Fun Car Ruined by "Safety" Features

The Elantra N looks sleek and stylish and it handles nicely being very quick and responsive. I could forgive the loose panels if it wasn't for the Driver Attention Warning. After an hour of driving this thing will start beeping non stop. It doesn't matter if you're driving in a perfectly straight line it will still beep at you ev3ry couple of minutes. Its loud and distracting and forces you to take your eyes off the road. I've combed through the manual and online forums and this thing cannot be turned off so long rides are miserable AND unsafe! Modern cars are over computerized and it ruins them. Do not buy the 2035 Elantra.

Best Value for a Performance Car today!

I love this car, I think Hyundai is doing great things with this car keep it up! I just wish the build quality was slightly better to the point where it wouldn't be disrupting to the price of the vehicle too much. My biggest gripe is the octane learning of the car, I wish it would be automatic and it didn't require a technique to get it working like other cars for example (Audi). There is also wind noise coming from the driver side window which can't be fixed at a dealership. I also wish the paint wasn't so fragile. The worst part of owning this car is the dealership experience , the car is amazing but the dealership (most not all) really is terrible here in USA.

Incredible machine for the price.

This car is an amazing machine, good quality, powerful, nice design and good looking interior. Easy to customize and to increase the power. It has 276 HP to the wheels not to the crank which means between 316 hp to 325 HP to the crank (dyno tested).

Sound system & ambient lighting & headlight lightbar

Could be better sound, it’s not the best but it is doable. The ambient lighting should go front dash to the driver & passenger front doors like the Sonata N-Line. Once again the sonata N-Line has the light bar on the front of the car which is super cool in my opinion, should have been added to the Elantra N.

Elantra N is a joy to own and drive

After a long search for a new car, I chose the Elantra N because of its unique options and the joy I experienced when test driving it. It met all my options that I was looking for in a new car except being a hybrid. I am 2.5 months into owning the car and have very few issues and still enjoy the car immensely.

Excellent Car

I bought this car for practical commuting and track use that is reasonably warrantied. Car has been phenomenal for both and actually quite surprising with all the standard technology and seating and driving comfort. Sales and service experience has also been near perfect.

Best bang for your buck for this kind of performance and tech

Vehicle looks amazing, has an amazing exhaust note, rides great, and can handle most anything thrown at it when it’s being pushed to its limits. Hyundai is killing it with their new N cars!

Fun Daily Driver

Overall fun car for the money - looks great, drives great, and fast as heck! Definitely tradeoffs (Fuel Economy / Low Roof / Not a lot of space in the FRONT of the cabin for passengers and driver) Despite all of that, its a great 5 seater car that's faster than your average sedan. With a fantastic price point for those looking to try something faster than your normal car. Out of the box 0-60 in 5 seconds. No tunes, no nothing. The exhaust sound is a HUGE part into what makes this car so fun to drive as well!

Good but not great, needs major improvement to compete w/ other brands

Over all the car is decent, I’m not in love with it as I feel there are areas that need major improvement. There are noticeable gaps in the build, especially around the hood, which appears misaligned and has a large gap. Inside the vehicle, similar issues exist with the molding, which shows uneven spacing in several areas.When lifted, the windshield wipers scrape against the hood, leading to paint damage, a design flaw that could have been easily avoided. It’s disappointing that wireless Apple CarPlay isn’t available on this model, especially considering it’s basically a standard feature in many vehicles. It’s also unclear why a sunroof isn’t offered, particularly when it is available on the automatic version of the same model. The speakers are decent, but the voice control system seems to focus on the driver’s side, which negatively impacts the overall sound balance in the cabin.The key fob feels unnecessarily large and bulky. It’s confusing why the key isn’t integrated into the fob if it’s going to be this big, instead now theirs two separate components a step backward in design. Additionally, the fob feels a bit cheap for what’s supposed to be one of the brand’s higher-end models. There’s even a blank button on the fob, which may be used for remote start in other models. Instead of just swapping the logo on the back and removing features, the fob should be uniquely designed for this model or at least retain functional parity.

The cars performance is terrific but the The front seats are very uncomfortable. And I don't understand why adaptive cruise control and 360 degree cameras aren't available.

The Elantra N is amazing.

After owning 4 Elantras previously, the N is hands down the best one so far. Plenty of power, and is the best handling FWD car i have driven to date. So much fun to be had in this vehicle.
