Build quality awful, drive was average at best. And don’t worry, I got to crash test it when someone hit me at a red light going literally only 30mph but my car was totaled, I had a concussion, and my left knee was cooked. Below average sound equipment too. Good mpg though

Great Vehicle With Minor Quirks

While the vehicle itself is great, there are some quirks with the layout and the software package. I have had multiple issues with the touchscreen/media console which has caused it to crash or get stuck mid drive, while this is an easy fix (just press the reset button on the bottom left) it can cause some issues when you look at your map only to realize that it has been frozen for the last 10 miles. Another issue is the rear air conditioning, it's virtually non existent meaning you may be having ice cubes blown on your in the front, but your back passengers may be sweating. The bar between the passenger and the driver is also a little inconvenient and odd, but doesn't cause any issues. The vehicle gets great gas mileage though, with me routinely hitting over 50mpg on freeways and sometimes over 60mpg on the back roads.

Happy so Far

We have been happy with our Elantra hybrid since we purchased it new. The milage performance has been one of the best parts, with getting an average of 51 - 54 MPG in town. One of the least favorite things has been when the car receives an OTA update and resets the dash preference settings. Also, when operating in mountainous areas and using up the available battery power leaves the car seriously under powered. The last area of annoyance is the lack of AC vents for the rear seat passengers - how much would it have cost to bring AC vents to the back seat?!?!?!

Air bags don’t deploy!!

Was t-boned by a suv and none of my airbags deployed. Don’t recommend buying one I have nerve damage in my neck from hitting my head on the door .

Awesome Vehicle

Gas mileage is always around 50 mpg. I love my car. Plenty of power. It drives very well. I love my cooled and heated seats. Plenty of room in front and backseat for adults. Trunk is spacious on its own and I routinely carry extra long items by utilizing the fold down seats. I would definitely buy again.

Overall I am highly satisfied with my 2023 Elantra. The only things that needs improvement are, the rear window defroster doesn't work as well as I want it to. Also, the volume coming from the rear speakers is subpar at best.
