2015 Azera limited
We fell in love with the Azera when we rented the car at an airport in Wisconsin to visit our kids a few years ago. Upon our return home, we bought a used Azera basic. Decided we wanted more bells and whistles, and bought a new 2015 LTD Azera loaded. Beautifully designed dash, the light blue indirect all around lighting is awesome, MOROCCAN pearl exterior and camel interior get many compliments, lots of leg room in back seat for TALL people without pulling the front seat forward. The sound system is beautiful. Great bass. Love the Sun roof, back side curtains and electric back sun curtain. The headlights are like no others. Very modern design. When the high beams are on, very broad, gives wide area so important while night driving. Auto dimming and out of lane notification and blind spot notification on mirrors are important safety features. We had friends who needed a ride from airport with several pieces of luggage. We said no problem, all luggage fit nicely in the trunk. The have a Cadillac. When needing to change the seat position, so handy to have it on the door. Also to have memory 1 and 2 on drier side door. All the controls on the steering wheel are very handy as well. What I am telling you I guess is all in the manual! Ha. We love this car and had all the bells and whistles that the big name cars have...actually, we spent wrote a bit on this one too, but we love and appreciate it. Instead of pushing the Genesis as you do, you should be pushing the Azera. I have sat in the Genesis and it does not have the allure the Azera has at all. The glove box is difficult to look into the way it opens, for instance. The dash is ho hum. I will tell you one downside oh l of Azera: The automatic trunk open. If you approach the trunk with cart of groceries, it does not open fast enough. Buy the time you get to the car, you can open it yourself before it opens automatically. Secondly, if you're just standing around, talking tio someone, all of a sudden, the trunk will open! Not a good thing. We had attended a function, walked to our car with friends, got in our cars and drove away. We were meeting with stop and go traffic when we felt our trunk close. The man in the car behind us shut our trunk when we had come till a stop in traffic. The man was actually our son. The trunk had come open as we approached the car in the parking lot and did not realize it was open. We were approaching the freeway when our son shut the trunk. We disabled this function. One of the other car companies had a function where you can put your foot under car to open trunk...maybe better?
I would not get rid of the Azera. I hear you may discontinue this model. What a mistake.
