Feels Like a Truck

I had a Santa Fe for 15 years. I loved it. Since the Santa Fe is now an 8-passenger van, I turned to the Tuscon. Bad move. Although it's the same footprint, it's much heavier and feels it. It's a rough and noisy ride, not comfortable at all. There are so many buttons and settings, many of which I can't find in the massive owners' manual. The automatic door opener works about 1 in 10 times. I am very disappointed.

Too much tech.

The car is comfortable to drive, but has too many electronic aids, buttons, warning signals, many hard to use. Navigating the system is cumbersome. The GPS isn’t built in, but depends on my phone.

Lemon

I purchased 6 vehicles and three were lemons. No one at Jenkins Hyundai or corporate will stand good for the vehicles. The money I lost was over $80 k. This lastist one was in the shop over a month ago. The last one needed 3 transactions in 3 months. The put me in a ne vehicle quickly never telling me about the lemon law. They just kept on adding on the balance. I was under the impression that they would buy them back. Wrong! Bought the cars for retail and traded it in for less than wholesale. When I get out of this financial crisis Jenkins put me in, I will never buy another car from Jenkins and YlHyundai again.

Great Crossover, but missing the basics

Tucson style and handling: Great. I really love the way the Tucson handles. I'm missing my garage door openers. I use them multiple times a day. I never even thought of asking if the car had them before purchasing. I've had them in every car I've owned for the past 35 years. So, a separate garage door opener takes up room that is already limited. Interior: The review mirror seems small & cheap. Road noise level is loud. I thought if I didn't have a sun/moon roof, it would be quiter, but it's still loud. There is minimal storage causing the driver to reach behind seats for items. Only 1 front seat has a backseat pocket for storage. The center console is only one small but deep storage area. I loved my added top level shallow area, for quick access , in my old Sonata. The wireless charger takes most of the room in the forward console area. I couldn't justify spending an added $10K for leather seats. The mid level vinyl seats aren't rated well for quality or comfort. I'm not liking my clothes seats, at all, but will get used to it.

I like everything about it except the gas saving engine thing. I would prefer a permanent off switch rather than pressing it every time I turn on the vehicle.

New Car

I had only had my car, a 2025 Tuscon for 2 months when the check engine light came on. Cylinder and fuel injector issue. I was excited for a new, upgraded car until this happened and now I just worry that something else will happen. I do enjoy the updated and bigger touchscreen. Bluelink for life is also great.
