Honda Dealer in Staunton is not very helpful
I have purchased my last 3 vehicles from the Honda dealership in Staunton and prior to this vehicle, I have been relatively happy with their sales and service departments. As it relates to this Ridgeline, I have never in my 50 years of driving had a catalytic converter go bad. In May of 2022, I brought my vehicle in to have an emission system check engine light looked at. The service rep came to me after about 15 minutes and said my front catalytic converter was bad and that it would cost $2,400 to repair and that if I wanted to go forward with the repair, I would have to prepay $1,700 for the part before they would order it. That's not what a would call good service from a dealership I had spent money to purchase my last 3 vehicles from. Needless to say, I was not very happy and have decided to go elsewhere for the repair. I will probably never purchase another Honda product again, but if I do, I guarantee, I will never go to CMA Valley Honda again.
