The first biggest selling point when I bought was the way the tailgate operated, either by drop down or swing open, the second was trunk space yes it has a trunk I’ve used mine for tailgate parties with ice and beverages, third is the V6 engine it has a lot of power even at high speed there is plenty of power for emergency passing, fourth is the gas mileage the best I ever got was 32 mpg on cruise control crossing the desert.

Interior not made for Average Texas Man

Seats are too cheaply engineered and made. They are too narrow for a man who wears 36/34 Jeans. The back of the seat bottom will not support my 210 pound weight. The rest of the truck is above average. If you can not comfortably ride in a vehicle, what good is it.

Never Again

I purchased the Ridgeline new from the dealer. I had a previous 2008 Ridgeline with 180,000 miles on it. I thought the new ones would be the same. This truck has been a problem since the purchase. Service from the dealers has been terrible. I was a committed Honda buyer but they will never get another dime from me.

Good Design Marred by Constant Problems

I never thought I would regret buying a Honda, but here it is: I regret buying this truck. The basic design is very good, but I have had one problem after another - parking alert failures, water in the cabin, intermittent error messages.

Last Honda for me.

I have been a lifelong Honda owner but no more. Service has been terrible. Expensive problems just out of warranty. Last one I’ll ever own. Craftsmanship has declined overall on Honda’s. This was a good example confirming my opinion.

Great Truck

Only 3 1/2 years and 100,578 miles with no problems but now transmission is acting up and no error messages, runs fine but shifts oddly occasionally. Humm? Everything is working great no major complaints.

Great suv/truck combo

As the title states. Only 4 stars, as Honda has consistently, undersized front brakes. Rotors warped at 17k. Warranty service did not replace rotors, turned them instead. Dumb move as they are thinner, so again at 37"k warping.. So at 39"K had after market rotors and all pads replaced.. I have an RTLE so comfort features are great. Just a bit better engineering from Honda would make it 5 stars

2017 Ridgeline Review

This is my second Ridgeline, the first being a 2007, and now a 2017 model. The body styling is superior on the 2017 and the smooth ride is outstanding, much the same as a heavy SUV rather than a pick-up truck. The bed is wide enough to haul a 4' X 8' sheet of plywood flat between the wheel wells. The under-bed cargo hold is watertight and lockable to store valuables out of sight, but easily accessible. Good engineering overall.

I LOVE my Ridgeline

I really like my Ridgeline and have offered my enthusiasm to friends. The only thing I don't like, but it isn't THAT big and issue, is the degree of opening of the back door. I wish it would open wider.

Great city pickup

I was looking for a light duty pickup that had the most room in the back seats for my fellow hikers. I don't drive off road and I wanted a truck that was quiet and rides like big car on long trips. This PU really fits the bill and gets great mileage.

Love it!

I had a full size GMC C3 pickup that I enjoyed and served me very well. However, I felt it was time to upgrade to a new vehicle with the added safety features offered now. This Ridgeline offered these newest safety features with a most comfortable car-like ride and still had the convenience of a pickup.

The new El Camino

Is it a car, is it a truck ... I don't know. All I know that this AWD vehicle is comfortable as a car, drives like an SUV and hauls like a truck. In 2 years and 32,000 miles and no issues. This vehicle is for people who want a truck but need it only for smaller tasks while using it as a daily driver
