2026 GV70 Sport Prestige improved over my previous 2023 GV70
This is my third Genesis and my second GV70 Sport Prestige. I loved my 2023 GV70, hands down the best luxury compact SUV on the market. Genesis took a great vehicle and made it better for 2026. The ride is enhanced by the addition of hydraulic suspension bushings, resulting in noticeably greater control and improved ride quality. The interior is quieter, with less road noise. The door seals appear to be more robust - the doors close silently with a pleasing thunk. Headlights shine more brightly and with a broader light pattern, improving a complaint I had with my '23. I wasn't sure I would like the new single OLED instrumentation panel over the previous generation's instrument binnacle and separate dash-mounted screen - but I do. However, I still prefer the speedo and tach instrumentation style / look in the '23 binnacle over the new gauge look in the single OLED screen. The seats are more comfortable on long seven-hour trips. The new Bang and Olfson stereo is a big improvement. Complaint! - My Sport Prestige model no longer has rear seat window shades! These are reserved for the six-cylinder model, Genesis - you did a great job improving what was already a special vehicle.
