Still Smiling After 17 Months with My GV70

I’ve had my 2025 GV70 3.5T Sports Prestige for 17 months now, and in that time it’s been completely trouble‑free with just over 9,000 miles. It still looks and drives exactly like the day I bought it. I downsized from a full‑size pickup, and the GV70 has been a perfect fit — comfortable, quick, and genuinely fun to drive. I still smile every time I put it in Sport or Sport Plus. The power and handling make every drive a little better, and I’m reminded why I chose it.

Still Smiling After 17 Months with My GV70

I’ve had my 2025 GV70 3.5T Sports Prestige for 17 months now, and in that time it’s been completely trouble‑free with just over 9,000 miles. Car looks good. Car runs great comfortable. Everything works. One problem is very little room in the back boot unless the second row seat seats are down.

Great car but not perfect.

Would be an almost perfect car if not for the necessary login each time, lack of fingerprint recognition and no ability to permanently shut off the Auto Start-Stop feature.

Excellent Vehicle

I absolutely love my 2025 Genesis G70! From the moment I saw it, I was taken by how gorgeous it is. The design is sleek, sophisticated, and eye-catching-it’s a car that looks beautiful sitting still and even better on the road. But what really impressed me is how incredibly smooth the ride is. Driving the G70 honestly feels like driving on clouds. It’s quiet, comfortable, and refined, and every drive feels effortless. Whether I’m just running errands or spending more time on the road, the ride quality makes the experience something I genuinely look forward to. The interior is another highlight - there’s plenty of space, and everything feels thoughtfully designed and upscale. The features inside are amazing, and the combination of comfort, technology, and attention to detail makes the G70 feel like a luxury vehicle in every sense of the word. my first suv

The car performs very well with very good acceleration, handling, and braking. There's lots of room and passengers are very comfortable both front and back. The display is complicated with different buttons to enable and sometimes hare to read or interpret.

My review

Basically like my GV70. But I’m not happy with the technology. I have problems with the basic radio system sometimes. I shuts down unexpectedly. I have to either reboot the screen or stop and turn off the car. And sometimes that doesn’t work. Also I have had tire problems. Too lengthy to describe.

Sold as car driven by customers before. See cons review below

I am happy with the vehicle. But totally unhappy with the dealership in Richmond, Virginia and the dealing with your corporate Customer Care Service. Got the impression that they all didn't care anymore about the importance of keeping customers happy. The car was a demo car. I was the first individual owner but because it had been leased to a manager at the dealership I couldn't get the benefits of being a first owner. Only revealed to me by the financial manager. Attempts to change this were dismissed including by your corporate customer care department.

Solid well designed vehicle

The GV70 is solid mid-size SUV. Performance is excellent, response is balanced and technology is user friendly. The front dash screen and control dial are easy to use while driving, it has a great sound system, will designed navigation system and easy touch screen options. The back seats are comfortable and storage space is competitive to other brands. The design and stance of the GV70 is what sets it apart for me. One of the best looking cars I have owned.

Perfect, except one thing

Love the car, performance, looks and comfort. Hate the rusting lug bolts and rusting caliper bolts it the first thing I see when walking out to car.

Minor characteristic

Only two issues stick out. Minimal storage for drinks etc. the lowest setting of the cabin fan is still high. We spend a lot of time opening and closing the vents. For 8 fan levels the low should be lower
